I might rank some people on possibility of playing, these are my personal views.

High Possibility

Arctic Monkeys

Radiohead

Slight Possibility

WTT (H.O.V.A is friends with eavis)

Fleetwood Mac

Kings of Leon (please no)

Mumford & Sons

Lady Gaga (If they asked nicely I think she would).

Low Possibility

Rolling stones (From what information is circling I'm seeing the chances drop by every day! still have hope!)

The Killers (Isle Of wight)

Rihanna (tour dates)

Dizzie Rascal (Not big enough).

Muse (Not that long since they last played)

Coldplay (Depends if eavis is really stuck).

Blur (My hunch still tells me reading have snapped them up.)

Not gonna happen

Green Day

Pearl Jam

(Any other act that is headlining a festival on exclusive, Eminem/StoneRoses.

Surprisingly could happen if they get it right

Snow Patrols moment has gone. They could have headlined from 2007-2009, but I would struggle to name anything other than the title track from their last album.

Kasabian are as big as they've ever been, and are available. I can see them filling in if others knock Glasto back.

I don't think now is the time for kasabian

One more album and maybe. I know they aren't 'great'.

But they aren't half as bad as some. I saw them at reading and I had fun... but I only saw the ending half of their set, my friend dragged me out of 'At the drive in', which were absolute perfection.

Having a great day = sitting at your laptop all day arguing about bob dylan?

Not only are you an objectionable, confrontational, ignorant prick you're also dull as dishwater.

Everything single thing you write on here is full of venom and hate, it just pisses me off. You come across an aloof twat who loves to smell his own farts... Are you a 40 year old virgin who lives in a house with 8 highly sexually active couples? Thats the only explanation i can come up with why your such a prat.

Who's the prickly one? You or me?

Which one of us has resorted to personal abuse, you or me?

I've got views and I express them. I'm not even slightly bothered whether you agree with them or not. Or, for that matter, whether you read them. If I wind you up that much, I strongly suggest that you go and have a nice lie down and stop reading what I post it's only the internet and they're only opinions. Get some perspective...

What? what do you think gives you the right to just say your own views, if they are full of hate, negativity and pure arrogance.

Yeah, there's also a different between an opinion and someone who screams at someone because "I don't like that band", like a fecking baby who's mum gives them a bottle instead of a breast!

Kasabian get WAY too much stick on these boards. They're fine. West Pauper was better than fine, it was good. They have plenty of enjoyable songs I wouldn't mind hearing.

Yeah - they're not up there with Neil Young etc. But personally I think they deserve it more than a few others right now - Arctic Monkeys and Lady Gaga included.

Kasabian have a couple of songs i don't mind. bought their first album and thought it was really good at the time. Empire was bullshit though and West Pauper was okay... but by the time that'd come out i'd really grown out of that 'type' of music. haven't heard the new one. they just bore me to be honest. they're good at what they do, but what they do just isn't my thing at all. post-Oasis indie lad rock

I didn't enjoy them in 09 though slightly unfairly that may partly be because the crowd around me was c**t soup. They did push the crowds buttons though and their Reading set looked decent on TV. They're obviously chomping at the bit to do it but would just seem a totally uninspired booking. Especially next to Arctic Monkeys. We're just a Snow Patrol away from TITP at that stage

    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
