So considering we'll be watching these a week today I was just wondering if the general feeling for them has changed.

Have you accepted they're worthy of a headline slot?

Do you still think them headlining is a joke?

Undecided?

Are you gona be that one guy who bottles them to look "cool".

Still won't be watching them, not out of disgust but because I just don't like them and I'm going out of my way to avoid 30STM and MCR certainly won't pull me back to the main stage.

Hope they do pull it off though as it's good for the festival.

Me and my five friends will not be watching MCR or Beady Eye as none of us can stand any of them, I don't really know what to expect from Unkle so I guess my process of elimination I guess we will watch the Horrors, if they are rubbish we will head to the silent disco early.

The 2 other nights I could watch 2 or 3 of the headliners but that's festivals for you.

I can see MCR getting a big crowd to start with and if they are poor people will filter away

It's strange that from all the other festivals they played this summer, no one has mentioned if they were any good or not on here (that I've noticed).

If they turn up without decent stage production (which I highly believe they won't) then I'll probably be a bit disappointed as it will end up being no special than their other dates.

The Horrors new album is a belter! It's them or an early silent D-I-S-C-O if I can persuade my mates.

I'm looking forward to them. Been hearing a lot of people saying 'I've heard they're rubbish live'. Well take it from someone who's not a huge fan of them so I've not got a bias, I am by no means a killjoy :P , they are very good, Gerard has slimmed down and doesn't run around like a headless chicken like he used too so he's not always out of breath and can actually hit the notes.

I understand how people don't agree with MCR headlining and stuff thinking they're emo and that but thats what these generations are all about...

Personally, i really like MCR and can't wait to see them perform. I also think 30STM will do an amazing set.

Anyone who thinks about it, don't bottle them, it's not cool and you wouldn't like it if people bottled your favourite bands. Think of Glasvegas at V Fest.

Just give em a chance, and if you don't like them, then well that's fair enough.

2 days!

    • I think it happened a week ago. Btw, Ela Minus looks like a great addition for the opening free day now. Anyone been to this venue? Is there like a closed place or they just put an open air stage somewhere in the park?
    • I see the weekend tickets have sold out. When did that happen? I recall seeing that Friday day tickets had all gone but was surprised to see today that weekend ones had too.
    • I thought some time back that I could see Get Down Services getting a slot in Woodsies
    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
