Tom75
yep Felice Brothers were rocking last year, on the Garden Stage and Tipi on the Sat night. Would be good to see them there again... Just Townes Earle would fit in really well on the bill at EOTR i reckon.
ljsawyer
The Fiery Furnaces perhaps? Blueberry Boat performed in its entirety with Tropical Ice-Land thrown in at the end?
riverlodge
am enjoying delicate steve A LOT at the moment. would like the chance to see him this year.
wackojackohighcliffe
In looking for some higher octane, rockier acts I have to suggest the Drive By Truckers. Brilliant Southern Rock for those who don't know them and some fantastic storytelling. Maybe potential headliners.

wackojackohighcliffe
Yeah on both accounts. It's so difficult to tell what constitutes a headliner. RE: Beirut over Midlake, Yo La Tengo.

thespiral
Really hoping Singing Adams are back again this year - new album out in April, should be a corker. Had a chat with the bassist at a recent gig of theirs and he was saying how much they liked EOTR but he didn't know if they were playing this year I've always thought Redlands Palomino Co would go down a treat. Much underrated. Though they have been a bit quiet of late. I think I read a new album was in the offing. Be nice to see Alan Tyler at EOTR with or without The Rockingbirds also. shoebox
Yeah, Steven Adams has been at every EOTR in some guise or another hasn't he? I Tweeted him the other day, asking if he'd be down the front for Dan Mangan's set (he's a big fan) and the reply was something along the lines of "Shit yeah!", so if they're not playing, I dare say he'll be there as punter. Hoping to get to The Lexington next month and I've already pre-ordered the album. Dan Michaelson will, no doubt, be there as a punter as well if he and the Coastguards aren't playing (here's hoping they are). Another one who's played every year, albeit last year as a mere cameo during the Singing Adams set.
seadragon
I know it's probably a bit late now to be making requests but having seen Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros on Friday at the Old Vic Tunnels please please please can they play EOTR! They were so good that I even considered trying to find a ticket and go and see them again on either Sat or Sun. The atmosphere was incredible, I haven't been to a gig i enjoyed that much in a long time. I know they're playing a couple of other things this summer, but if they could play EOTR too it'd make my year
swashbubbler
As much as I love seeing new bands I would love to see Edwyn Collins, British Sea Power, Tindersticks, Richard Hawley, Calexico and I'm From Barcelona at EOTR again. Would be wonderful to see Roddy Frame or Robert Forster who'd both be perfect for the festival.

ljsawyer
Anyone go to the EOTR promoted Woods gig @ Bush Hall in London tonight? Stunning show and a brilliant atmosphere. Already can't wait to see them again in September . Spectrals and The Doozer both supported and were nice enough to listen to so I'd say they're good bets for EOTR too. Infinite Jest
I was at Decemberists, and have to say that I'd really like to see them again. I'd be more than happy if they got the 3rd spot.
Dibford and Son
I too was at The Decemberists. What a show, brilliant band and would be fantastic on the Garden Stage. Still don't reckon it will be them though. Reverse psychology in play here!!
SweepingTheNation
I reckon it'll be the Decemberists now, for the reason that making a festival wait til two days after their UK tour ends before announcing their appearance seems like festival agent practice. shoebox
They were very clear in saying they didn't know when they'd be back in UK at the end of the Hammersmith gig last night, so don't get your hopes up.
