I can't see gaga only doing the other stage, she can shift tickets like no one else in the world at the moment

someone exciting like the rolling stones would be good (are they going ahead with the 'final' tour or what?) - the U2 radiohead kylie rumours sound so dull!

but as mentioned before, I also couldn't care less

If you stick Lady Ga Ga on the same time as U2 for example I'm sure the crowd wouldn't be ridiculously large.

Lady GaGa is bigger at the moment but doesn't have the general appeal (eg. old, young, gay, straight, kids) whereas Kylie does and she also has a massive back catalouge of hits to go to.

They pretty much ban themselves from singing live. Hayseed Dixie told a great anecdote about them at a giig recently about a Norwegian TV show they both did. Take That asked the Hayseed lads what they were doing after the show, whether they were going out drinking or not. They said sure, we've lined up an impromptu gig in a local bar and they are paying us in all the beer we can drink for the night, why not join us? The look of horror on the Take That group's face gave them their answer. They never perform live, unless it is choreographed and stage-managed to the nth degree. Hayseed Dixie even did a rendition of one of Take That's songs and said they'd accompany them, but got shot down.

I'd probably have watched Take That minus Robbie, out of curiosity. With him involved I'll be as far away as possible.

All I ask is this: once the Pyramid headliners are announced, wouldn't it be lovely if not one single person on this board complained about a single one of them, or said "they're not headlining material", or "it's not U2/The Rolling Stones/Spinal Tap", or ANYTHING like that, and simply said "not really my cup of tea, I'll just have to watch one of the 30-odd other acts on at the same time, or go and have some fun somewhere". That's going to happen this time, right?
