I think

RADIOHEAD

COLDPLAY

LADY GAGA

yup Lady Gaga, She's just headlined US fests, Glasto loves to break in the new headliners, she's huge and would be a difference to the band acts the other days, gunna happen

EDIT - I see she's already been mentioned. Think its definatly going to happen

Kylie hasn't played before. Bjork maybe? She's played before, but never headliend the Pyramid (although she has played last on the Other Stage, is this classed has headlining?). She's also due a new album out early next year, presenting the same scenario as when she played last.

Tbh i cant see both radiohead and coldplay playing, their style are just too similar (imo)

I reckon Red Hot Chilli Peppers isnt a bad shout as they'll probably be touring with their new guitarist around then

And i can see Lady Gaga playing but i think she's just a bit too much of a novelty to headline

Im gonna say Pearl Jam or Led Zeppelin to headline solely because it would be just too perfect

Coldplay/Radiohead

Red Hot Chilli Peppers

Pearl Jam/Led Zeppelin

Thats my call (half actual prediction, half wishlist :P)

effectively if he said it in the Q Michael Eavis could be throwing people off, now i heard he made contact with u2? so surely theres truth in it? and especially after the Bruce Springsteen incident of 2009, throwing potential sole U2 fans off could do the trick?

However, i'm gonna say

Coldplay

Radiohead

Madonna?

In the 16 page if images paper I picked, there was a picture of beyonce on the back page and the caption below was 'who will be taking to the pyramid stage next year?'. Doesn't necessarily mean headliner and could be a piss take but I think she could pull it off.

Lady Gaga is my guess from a couple of things I have read/seen. From Q Michael said that "The deals are done, two of the headliners will be returning and one is a woman who has been before but never headlined." and Emily was bigging up her last performance to the BBC a few days ago, mentioning her in context with other bands that have come back to headline.

Linky at about 1:30

Radiohead and Coldplay i reckon for the returners.

I read that about the woman headlining who has played before as someone who has done a full set. So florence and the machine, or amy winehouse.

First of all, there is no way Florence is headlining Glasto, no f**king way!

I was going to come on and guess U2, Radiohead and Kylie like the OP

But now I reckon it will be either Gaga/Kylie, U2/Coldplay and I see Radiohead being nearly nailed on

Heart says;

Radiohead

The Strokes

The Beach Boys

Head says;

Coldplay

Kylie

U2

Head would be so dull, and after the awful set from Gorillaz this year, Eavo needs to pull something out of the bag for next year...

After loads of times I have heard Daft punk and Radiohead to headling I am choosing these 2. Radiohead are one of my favourite bands!!!

Fri - Daft Punk

Sat - Radiohead - Cos it will be my birthday on that day too :D

Sun - Arcade Fire

    • Was volunteering at the Women’s Cricket World Cup at Southampton yesterday. Was great fun.
    • Definitely see this as being 'weak' on paper but could see a few bumps up from previous sets at Download (Don Broco, Neck Deep etc).
    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.
