We're really confident because yesterday was the start of an easy run of games against shit teams...there was your boys, and coming up we have Man Utd at home, and Bolton, Citeh, and Chelsea away...easy. Safe before the end of April!

I thought it was a freekick meself, but can see the argument the other way. Ah well as Bruce said after the beach ball "these things happen". :P

You did well, just a shame Mensah looks a terrible player at times. Thought you'd probably get a point until Suarez's intervention. What a player.

Mensah was never in the box. Ergo........

Sunderland aren't shit, Mensah is shit. What they were today was extremely unlucky: Two injuries on 20 minutes and a blatently incorrect penalty awarded for the liability that is Mensah. f**ked from then on. The ref was a disgrace.

Well the Almunia-Squillachi combo proved truely deadly yesterday, unbelievable stuff. The only positive was our comeback and hopefully we can build from that. Everything crossed that by the time the international break is over Theo and Cesc will be back as we sure as feck aren't going to win games by defending

Well was tight, wrong cal but hardly a 'disgrace'. Was nowhere near as poor decision as the beachball in the same fixture last year, or maybe even the confusion in the earlier fixture.

What's that got to do with anything? I was explaining why Sunderland weren't shit and how it was that Liverpool won.

The ref was terrible throughout. There was nothing freak to reside over, like a beachball incident, just a match. He failed miserably.

I was just explaining I didn't think he was a 'disgrace'. He got that wrong (well he actually got it right but the linesman didn't) but apart from that he was fairly standard I thought.

He was awful. He slowed the game right down with his pedantry and gave decision after dubious decision to Liverpool. It made for an awful game, which was just winding up to be a canny affair before the penalty award. Bringing the ball back for a free kick after Liverpool's advantage didn't pay off was nothing short of a joke. You could write a thesis in his defense and you still wouldn't convince me otherwise. He f**ked it right up, the scouse twat.

With that out of the way, I just hope that we finish above Newcastle so that I get a free trip to Portugal. Oh, and that we sack both Mensah and Bruce.

To be fair I just edited my old post because I forgot about the weird advantage. Wouldn't say he was awfully biased though, just a bit whistle happy like most of the refs in the league.

Nah it was a different discussion. It was after West Ham and I just said that injuries had caught up with us, and you said that isn't an excuse as every team has them. Was only a joke anyway.
