Will do. Holds 24,000 apparently in that one end in standing mode.

Not too far off the size of the old South Bank at Molineux or The Holte End used to be.

yep.

now that we have learnt from the mistakes and standards of hillsborough, why the ruling that all premier league sides must be all seater is still in place i dont understand.

the lower leagues and rugby now all (can) have safe standing, is it more unsafe at the top tier of english football - of course not.

not only would it bring the atmosphere back (although i do think that certain clubs, while not maintaining the atmosphere of the 70's and 80's, do manage to get it going most of the time), it would also allow for those that have been priced out of the game back, it would solve a lot of issues for some major clubs in that they cant increase capacity because of their location.

and it wouldnt have to be all standing. the clubs can have 3 banks of seating should they choose, so the short arses and the kids can see.

my 1st game, home to derby 1979, i couldnt see a thing all match, ardilles got a brace and i didnt see anything - it was f**king ace!!

whys'at? brechin nae going up this season ;)

for me it's teams with ex-livi players. so leeds and west brom are the two main ones. and middlesbrough for my bet (if it still stands) and to see how miserable they're doing.

don't tend to care much though, it's all about livi!

Liverpool (First ever football top was a Liverpool one in the 80s)

Shef Wed (A few of my mates took to supporting the great Shef Wed team with Chris Waddle, Chris Woods, Des Walker etc... in it)

Wigan (Two ex Hamilton accies players in it)

Blackpool (went to a Blackpool game once in the 90s and really enjoyed it)

Had to lose sometime I guess...

Skrtel poor and Reina should have done better on their third. Suarez in the last ten was brilliant.

To be fair the loss of Meireles did it, we lost a man in midfield and we were overrun.

And as I was typing this Arsenal got very lucky in the CC final. Definitely should have been pen.

Fergie can speak some bollocks but this is one of the worst occasions I have seen recently. Rooney has had more media loving than almost any english player I can ever remember. Only a year ago they were debating who was the best rooney or messi. He also gets treated far more leniently by refs than any other player in the league bar possibly gerrard. Fergie should be thanking the media and the referees for favouritsm to rooney if anything.

    • Same’s happened at MSG recently with Rush and Phish alternating nights. I guess each band has its own unique production so their riggers will be kept busy
    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
