So you don't support him for being a sexist twat (oh the irony), but you respect him more for at least sticking to his guns of being a sexist twat rather than apologise for it. Brilliant, well worked out.

Anyone should be allowed to referee if they're good enough.

Anyone should be allowed to commentate for Sky Sports if they're good enough. Frankly, I always found Andy Gray shit at his job, who really added very little to the viewing experience. The next time I accidently leave a mic on, I'm gonna slag him off and not apologise

yeah the guys just completely barged him off the ball.

noticed a wee dive from fabregas last night. in the first half too. my eyes must have been playing tricks though neil :P

shame that ipswich crumbled so much though. i was hoping that arsenal would keep trying for the perfect goal as it clearly wasn't working against their brick wall. then bendtner goes and does that.

i'd quite like to see mcleish win the cup!

Believe that you'll believe anything. Gray has bitten the hand that feeds him.

I'm sure that Gray apparently suing the NotW is in the mix somewhere, but it's also blindingly obvious that at least some people within Sky have been looking for an opportunity to take him down. Does the woman who he essentially sexually harrasses look pleased with him? Does she f**k - and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that she's been one of those who have helped stir this up to get him sacked.

I'm also pretty certain that huge pressure will have been put on Sky by the Prem. They aren't going to accept one of the main faces of their game being so out of step with how they run their game.

There might well be stuff like Gray suing NotW in the mix, but the simple fact is that Gray has shown himself as completely unsuitable for the role he's had at Sky, and there's no getting away from that part of things.

a 'wee' dive? Nope, it was a huge one, and he should be hugely ashamed for it. Glad to see it bite him back when he got wiped out by those three players and the ref 'decided' it wasn't a foul.

(I've gotta laugh at that foul - they never get more blatant than that from a long-distance TV view )
