Must have been her first time to London. Either that or she'd just escaped from the Bethlem Royal Hospital.

Likely, but Bank is so busy you can clearly see what people are doing!

But it was more my fellow Londoners living up to sterotypes and they way they just completely ignored her to get past.

Sad in some ways....in other ways shows dertermination!

A couple of months ago I was put on a drug called Olanzipine. I was warned that it does cause weight gain. Over a month ago I had gained nearly 2 stone which, seeing as I am lardy anyway, has been causing me real difficulties especially when walking. So I have been taking Xenical to help with the side effects and after a dramatic change in diet I have lost all the weight and a little on top of that. I am more than a little chuffed with that.

Congrats, I'm having real problems with my weight, and that's without Olanzapine.

Is Olanzapine helping?

I used to be on Olanzipine and used to eat two or three big tubs of ice cream a night. I certainly put the weight on then. Then they changed the medication and put me on Aripiprazole, which I've been on for years now. I've noticed no weight gain using the later drug. If I don't take it for two or three days though (which sometimes happens) I go more than a little odd.

Best wishes Rufus.

My wife and I were in a pretty shitty situation last night. The people who knew this around us rallied and gave us a care free time (and they're still at it downstairs). Having proper people around is making me happy now.

The people around you make more difference than they can ever imagine :)

Absolutely. It's a real blessing to know that people genuinely care about you. Family is one thing, but having other people choose you as a friend is powerful stuff.

That said, I'd better take them back to the care home now seeing as they've been AWOL all night. :)

Be sure to give them plenty of sugary stuff before handing them over

Hope the weather is better for you this weekend, than my Aunt had with her son last weekend! She didn't have the best of times with the rain by all accounts!

(Then again some people let it bother them, others just put on the waterproofs)

I've actually just had some good news which makes a nice change. Well, it's kind of good news in that a mate has said he'll loan me the money to go on a course that I want to go on. I really really want to go on this course so may take him up on the offer. Completion of the course would allow me (hopefully) to get a job away from what I did before for 25 souless years.

So, I'm happy that I get to go on the course if I take up his offer and I'm happy that yet another friend has rallied in my hour of need ( a number of friends have stepped up to the mark to help me out of late).
