Saw them the other week at Wembley and were bloomin ace. Cant see them headlining but would be a worthy addition to a Sunday arvo for an hour at least.

I believe Holy Moly last year published the Neil Young/Blur/Springsteen combo before anyone else, even eFestivals. Today they say...

You're right about what Holy Moly says today.

However, for this year eFestivals beat HM by weeks with Blur & Springsteen, and we published about Neil Young the same day Holy Moly ran their thing - but it wasn't anything we'd got from HM (we even added a bit on the news item a little later to say it wasn't from HM after we became aware of what HM had published).

I'm pretty sure that HM have got this wrong too (unless things have changed), as Eavis has been quoted as saying that the Sunday headliner is "a young person's band". They might be playing, but it doesn't seem as tho they're the headliner from that Eavis quote.

    • Wednesday is a nice addition imo
    • Kronenberg in a tent as well IIRC but Brooklyn Pilsner was easier to get without queueing and was everywhere across the festival.
    • I think they'll end up doing something due to pressure and bad PR. Maybe they do a discount code for next year or bar credit or something along those lines.    I agree though. I acknowledge that the lineup is huge but surely you can't cancel 33% of the headliners and not reimburse in some way. Their insurance will probably cover their fees for MA, Doja, Bad Gyal and Mac DeMarco due to force majeure.
    • Looks like nothing for weekend ticket holders. You'd expect a goodwill gesture.
    • Enough has been covered about how much of a sh*t show that was, so I'll just say, Massive Attack and it's relationship with this festival (and potentially me) are f**king cursed.    They were announced in 2020 when I first got excited about seeing them. They were subsequently on the poster for 21, 22 and now 26. This time I was in actually in the crowd close to the stage waiting for them twice haha. I give up!
