Radiohead for 2010

First off , I am not a huge Radiohead fan ( seen em a few times ) , but their peformance at Leeds

was inspiring and I thought they were the best band by far ( which was not difficult consigering KOL

and Arctic Monkeys ) , but they were good, very good

Their lo energy stage set was brilliant by the way !

I know I have posted plenty in the past about them playing , but that was more to do some peoples

opioins that Glastonbury is a poorer festival wothout em, and that some would only go to Glastonbury to see R/H amongst plenty of others.

So if they do get booked , I will be very pleased , will watch em - But reserved the right to have

a go at any posters that get carried away .

;)

Never been a massive fan of their music (a bit boring and self-indulgent IMO, save the odd good song) but I was really impressed with their performance at Leeds and wouldn't mind seeing them again next year. Possible shout for the "best of British" Sunday headliner?

Haha.. i remember you last year! hipercrite!

Anyhow, they were absolutely unbelieveble at Reading this year, the grestest show i've ever seen! and it would be fantastic to see them next year at Glastonbury!

Faithless & Radiohead are my only wants - I get my hopes up every year and they just don't appear on the line up! All I need is these two - if the rest of the slots were filled with the cheeky girls I wouldn't mind.

Rolf deserves a pyramid spot - have never seen jazzworld so crowded - was ridiculous! People were backed up against the fence!

I've made a resolution not to see any of the headliners next year, like Paul says, want to wander off to see some of the other stuff. it would take a f**king amazing headliner (Prince, probably) to make me change my mind. Can't see it happening.

To be honest, I thought their Leeds performance eclipsed the earlier Glasto effort of their's I've seen ('97, bold statement I know!)

As for the quote "Radiohead at Lancashire CC will be a better weekend then Glastonbury ! "

Total bollox! Despite my love of the band, having been to Old Trafford, a cricket pitch is just about the least ideal place for a gig I can think of ]

Best gig of my life at Leeds, they've gotta do glasto next year.

It's my last fest till I take my son and daughter in a few years and i'm hoping for them and Orbital, the rest (Rolling Stones etc) will be mere afterthoughts. Also, after their new album, hoping for a bit of Zero 7.

See you next year peeps [climbs back under rock :) ]

I thought the Reading set was amazing. You have to remember they are such an eclectic band. Yes some of their stuff can be "dancy", if you can call it that, after all Thom does listen to a lot of dance stuff, while Jhonny is clasically orientated, and this reflects in their sound. For me the best band on the planet bar none. To me they are gods and i love everything they have done. I would love to see them at next years Glasto, saw them in London 2008 and they were amazing. I am struggling to see however how Mr Eavis would get around them not bringing that magnificent stage set as it seems to lend so much to the spectacle. Although for me, they could play in the cow shed and they would still be great!
