It's usually £5ish for a meal and £4 a pint

I budget 7 quid a meal 3 times a day, so £21. Beer is around 4 quid a pint as said above.

Don't know if this will help but might be a bit higher but the prices will be somewhere in the region of these. These prices are from reading festival last year. Hope it's usefull.

Love this thread, I have read it right through (all 56 pages ) and as sad as it may seem, my food planner for this years festival is far more advanced than my list of must see bands

Looking through the line up and this thread, I am starting to wonder if this year the food might be more exciting than the music It might be a case of finding the hot and spicy stuff amongst a lot of porridge and I am not talking about the food

I don't know if anyone's already mentioned this - a cursory search said no - but Anna Mae's Mac & Cheese, a street food vendor of some renown down London way, mentioned on Twitter that this year will be their first Glastonbury.

This is completely delectable and naughty Mac & Cheese in all kinds of different flavours - we had a lovely one over the winter that had bacon, basil and pesto alongside the normal bits. Really warming and filling. Kickass comfort food.

Not sure where they will be (can ask on Twitter) but they mentioned that they might be concocting a new flavour for the festival and calling it "Mac Jagger".

I was liking the sound of this place until I read a review that compared favourably the mac cheese to the "tinned stuff of your childhood"! OMG!!! Once got served tinned Heinz Mac cheese in the 80's - it wa a long time before I ate mac cheese again!

It does sound interesting! Used to be the Guardian Lounge, then I think it was called 'Cocktails and Dreams' for a year. Between Pyramid and JPT. They've got DJs in there too, Tim Burgess is playing a set, more to come no doubt.

That's unnecessarily cruel. You're at the biggest arts event in Europe and you stop to take a picture of a chubby woman ordering food, I guess your life must be pretty empty. Either that or you're a c**t.
