Biggest Crowd ever at The Other Stage?

Groove Armada in 2002 or 2003 was pretty massive

Carter USM drew a large crowd on the other stage in 1992 (once voted best ever performance at Glastonbury), but I would think Leftfield who were headlining at the same time Travis were on the Pyramid in 2000 probably got the biggest OS crowd - just given the number of people on site at the time.

Wasn't there for that crowd, but would be interesting to hear opinions and facts on who's actually had the biggest crowd ever at The Other Stage. Chems and Elbow spring to mind personally, but presumably it's been more rammed that those two.

It came as a suprise to me but Mark Ronson pulled an absolute MASSIVE crowd last year........we were walking on through and got nowhere trying to cross and had to go around the outside!! Most shocked!! He did a cover of Radioheads Just which kept me entertained on my way around but the rest I heard was plain crap............what was the big draw??? (Did loads think Amy would show up?)

Like Karlhippy mentioned - Leftfield in 2000 had one of the biggest crowds I can remember seeing on the Other Stage. At the time though I was well and truly spangled so take my offering with a pinch of salt

I'm confused, when was Stereo Mcs and the Orb? was that the same year as Orbital on the Other Stage? or are they all hazing into one? F**k knows

Saturday was M People, Bjork and then Orbital headlining.

Sunday was Blur followed by Spiritualised.

Moby a few years back

It was definitely Moby, the year the fence was down across large parts of the site. Just before the superfence. It was rammed all the way to the tents and the railway track was packed with people too. I haven't seen a bigger crowd at the Other stage in the 12 years I have been going.
