  1. Ive been trying to get the other half to give The Wire a go for ages and she finally buckled this week and loves it. I totally agree with giving it quite a few episodes. There is a lot of characters to intriduce but as the story progresses it just gets better and better. The best TV I think I have ever seen to be honest. Heard good things about Utopia and The Following so will give them a go. Recent good series I have watched: Sons of Anarchy & Homeland. Archer for a laugh
  2. 1 more day woop! Enjoyed last weeks episode and season looks promising after Farmville in season 2. Hope they dont do what they did last season though and blow the budget on the first and last episodes leaving a pile of drivel in the middle
  3. Dissertation writing... 1 more week. Come on smog 1 more week....
  4. I like the thought that as a human race we continually strive to better our own lives and the lives of people around us. We push for new boundaries and hope to experience a wealth of different things. And we never forget the most important quest of all: we must always seek new things to deep fry! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/foodanddrinknews/7973944/Deep-fried-beer-invented-in-Texas.html
  5. Started watching this a month or so ago after a mate recommended it. Absolutely love it! About 6 episodes into Season 2 so far.
  6. Not sure if this has been posted but watched the first half of Religulous last night. Very funny, informative and disturbing all at the same time.
  7. Dont need it to watch catch up programmes on iPlayer. I think the wording is you 'cant watch a programme at the same time (or virtually the same time) as it is being broadcast' which makes streaming tv such a grey area. Wouldnt worry too much about it though
  8. You only need the licence if you watch it online at the same time as it is being broadcast - ok with everything else as far as I know. Big grey area to be fair. On topic Ive seen the first three episodes of the Pacific and its the first TV show in a while that will have me watching to the end. Superbly produced - looking forward to the rest of the show!
