Sons spoilers

I was gutted Wayne got it, I wanted him to survive. I thought the Jax/Gemma thing was handled really well, didn't think he would do it. I'm sure the diaries are going to reveal something. Juice was done well, as someone on here said last week, its gonna be Nero and Wendy at the farm with the kids at the end, Jax is gonna meet Mr Mayhem, and the "bye-law" that Jax spoke of in the meeting with Indian Hills will be the "no gays" rule, to make sure Tig is safe. Chibs, Happy and Tig will be the only old school left.

Remember Jax offered to patch-over the black biker gang? That's gotta be the by-law.

The Sons are taking on Robocop next week so don't expect all the old guys to survive. And they still have the Irish thing to tidy up.

My partner saw the Nero/Wendy/kids thing a few weeks back, I just claimed the credit for it here. Looking like she was right but there's an hour and a half left to go... the biggest obstacle might be a Jax/Nero dust-off when Nero finds out about Gemma and if Jax finds out New knew about Gemma signing-off on JT's murder, which the diaries might lead to.

Basically Sons deserved it's own thread but Walking Dead got it.

I think Nero knew the J/G thing was only going one way so that won't be a bone of contention. Nero has been trying to get "out" from the start so won't want to risk it. Maybe.

I thought sons was schmaltzy, sentimental shite tbh.

jax didn't deserve to go out in a manner of his choosing, he caused more shit through his lies than clay ever did, yet clay didn't meet a good end. And the bag lady/bread and wine/cgi Ravens bollocks was ridiculous. Not impressed.

I got the impression Jax's decision was a last minute one.

his decision to turn into the truck? I thought that, I think he headed out knowing he was going to die by some means, and decided he would do that when he saw the truck, my real problem was with all of the jesus imagery, and the hacky cgi, and then the final insult was the shakespeare quote at the close, just came off as a juvenile attempt at being "deep".

they've made no secret that it's loosely been based on Hamlet from the outset though.

CGI at the end was just awful! My cousin mentioned the whole series opened with a crow? It did seem like they were trying to pack as much imagery in as possible, but in the end it was the simple scenes that worked best - saying goodbye to the boys, saying goodbye to the club, Wendy and Nero off into the sunset.

Apparently the trucker was the one who gave Gemma a lift? I missed that too!

Ultimately at times the whole show had been badly acted, poorly scripted, rushed, chaotic, but there's just been something about it that I've loved - it's had some of my favourite television moments thrown in there along the way. I'll miss it.

    • Yep - should have been the Stones.
    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
