  2. DJs are always gonna clash whatever time they play though really. Not too many guitar acts this year so would surely be more favourable not to clash 2 of the biggest they have.
  3. Its a sh*tty low rez 3D render. Hopefully would look better in real life
  4. True, kind of effed it in whichever direction they go in.

Hey i have a LF pitch for sale. It’s half a pitch 6mx3m. Rob
  6. Same as last year then...
  7. For anyone going to DTRH, I see that a new app has been launched and the stage times will be in it from Wednesday (if I’ve understood correctly). The app is in Dutch which may be a slight issue for navigating around it, but I’m guessing the day/time splits will be fairly easy to understand.
  8. Outrageous! im a 16hr party person. I love a bit of sleep.
  9. Yep, we did the same for 6 of us (3 plots which should be plenty of space). Even without the facilities, the location and a guaranteed pitch with parking close by meant it was worth it as we arrive at different times. I'm basically looking at the extras that are claimed as a bonus if they happen to be any good. I imagine if it is, it will be significantly more expensive next year once they get established, but will report back after the festival!

    AMEN!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
  11. It's always 50/50 whether anyone at the Acoustic Stage, performer or viewer, will still be around a year down the line 😅

  13. The hardest working man in showbusiness... finally arrives onstage about 20 mins in. Ha ha!
  14. We set off on a tour of 5 local coops on saturday and found the clipper tea at the last one - we were celebrating like we'd won it 😄
  15. holtfarm.co.uk If you have your own tent, this is an option. Our gang of 20 have booked 5 adjacent plots and are splitting the cost. Even without splitting it, it's still cheap for the facilities and location near Gate D.
  16. Brothers & Sisters, gather round! Me and Hollie The Rescue Hound (TM) have been getting muddy as f**k for months on our walks. I can't recall things round here being as muddy in the 6 years I've lived here. Proper ankle deep slurry in places. Nearly lost a Muckboot at one point. However, it's only taken about a week of mild (not warm), breezy weather to completely transform the countryside. I went on an 8 mile hike with HTRH (TM) on Saturday and only encountered about 2-3 pockets that were still soft, let alone muddy. Never ceases to amaze me how Spring can be so transformative. Explosions of Bluebells, Snowdrops, Crocus's and bright green grass and leaves everywhere. Cracks forming in the drier bits of ground already. I feel it in my bones that we're in for another scorcher. The Rain Gods have had loads of fun and are ready for a long, well earned rest. Here endeth the sermon. NFR NFC.
  17. Any one else downed tools at work and twiddling there thumbs.... waiting for Silver Hayes
  18. Tomorrow a Barcelona festival held in November (Mira Festival), will announce the first batch of artists for this 2024 edition. For sure there won't be any overlap in announcements between PS and this one. Pretty sure we won't hear anything new until after the price increase…
  19. Down Bad won't leave my head.
  20. My two person shed at Sticklinch looked big on the picture, until my head was going through the back wall and my feet out the front door.
  21. Any idea who they might announce for Kylie? Last time she played it was Grace Jones and Chic so imagine at least 1 or 2 big ones?
  22. No idea. I guess they are waiting for asylum to be processed and just travelled using whatever documentation they have. Apparently there are quite a large number who have just disappeared from the system.
  23. oh yeah, I've just zoomed in and there are loads of jaggy edges and doesn't look right.
  24. Question. Given we back control and now have full control of security on the UK how on earth did these people get to the UK on Small Boats, make their way over to a Welsh or Scottish Ferry port, take a ferry to NI and then get to ROI - all without anyone in the UK knowing they were here or what they were doing?
  25. We are coming over from Southampton on the Sunday of IOW. Would like to get home immediately after the festival but there's not an awful lot of information. Got some questions if anyone can help: What time will the music finish? Is there a curfew? Will there be enough time to get from the festival site to East Cowes for the 00:30 ferry? Is it pushing it? It's 5 miles. It says on Red Funnel's website that 'Foot passenger tickets operate on a first come, first served basis. Times are shown as a guide and for ticketing purposes only – selecting a specific sailing does not guarantee a space.' Is it going to be a real rush to get those ferries? I know it's not Glastonbury but is there anything going on overnight on Sunday/Monday after the music? Cheers
