Quite happy about this as didn't get to explore much of this last year.

is it just me ? I didn;t get it last year. wondered round and saw all the stuff and it didn't appeal to me , I didn't get it. didn't make me want to go to Shangri la and see the spectacle.

I thought it was a bit of fun actually. The "Troll Rehabilitation Unit" window was hilarious. I still think Shangri-La needs a revamp (and a lot more space) but the interactive performance stuff worked for me last year

I thought last year's was the best one yet. Stunning. Perfect match of creativity, subversion and accessibility

Didn't make the festival last year, but went in '14 and '15. Was anything much different?

Yeah sounds like that in particular which... well, it wasn't great last year. The Shangri-la crew do a lot of great stuff but actual comedic stuff on stage... I do wish they'd hand it over to people who were actually funny.

Massive hats off to the performers last year. Thought they were superb.

Really need to explore Shangri La properly this year. When is the best time to arrive? The only thing that bothers me is the large crowds.

We sat in audience of "the voice" type talent show. V funny. The trolls and male babe station v good

I always think it looks much better in the dark, so I'd say between 10 and about 11-30 is perfect - then the main stages end and the place gets rammo instantly. Trying to leave and get to the theatre and circus fields while everyone is piling towards you desperate to get into shangri la in their zombie-like hordes is a bit terrifying by the way
