We've already talked about this before. I still don't see either Fontaines or Bea as the main act for any day of PS. Subheadliner is the term I'd go with for them (like MBV, addison rae or Bad Gyal this year).

They're back, they were playing a couple of days ago in a private event in.... Barcelona! (and it is also rumored their comeback)

Cause M83's past couple albums didn't have any huge popular tunes. They seem too small for Mordor or Amazon Music Stage closer. Unless they play Marina's timeslot on Amazon Music at like 12:30am... but Wednesday stage closer seems like a good way to spotlight them.

True, although You could say the same as macdemarco yet he got (almost) stage time. 

 

M83 are a legacy act on the back of 'hurry up' album.

I hope they bring back Dj Coco (or Teki Latex or someone else who is fun). The cupra closing slot has always been a great party, I found Peggy Gou very generic/underwhelming this year.
