I believe so....

It was. Just checked.

I stand by my unpopular opinion that booking Skrillex as Saturday night headliner would be a bad move.

Elevating someone to headliner, after they've subbed two years earlier, should be done because of an increase in popularity or a big new hit. Skrilex, over the past two years, has had neither.

I suspect it'd be popular but I agree that it's not the big name booking I was expecting, unless he's subbing 21P and we still have a big Saturday headliner name to come *wishful thinking*

Skrillex had a great set 2 years ago and is still a much more entertaining act (for me), than something like Guetta. So could be worse. Edm is really not my cup of tea though

I only caught the last 20 mins of his set as I'd been in the tent watching Yard Act with about 6 other people🤣

Wasn't overly impressed with what I heard in that time tbh. Much preferred Fred later in the evening.

Time will tell I guess.

Wanted to mention Fred, but didn’t find it relevant. His music I really do enjoy, as it’s much closer to being ‘live’ than any other djs.

His live mash up recently, with Mike Skinner(streets) and Karl Hyde(underworld) was awesome.

Highly recommended viewing on YouTube.

Why people don't want skrillex? At Lolla Chile put on an amazing show, and the crowd went wild!!

Because he was already there very recently (2024). Re-releasing him already feels a bit like a "lazy choice," especially since there are many other possible EDM talents (my favorite would be Alan Walker, but you see, that's just one example among many).

KSHMR, Tiesto, Marshmello, W&W, Timmy Trumpet, etc.... sooo many names that haven't been to Sziget so far, and yet, seems we're getting Skrillex again... already...

Now you understand 😉

Guys ??

Pukkelpop has today just announced Major Lazer on 21 august 🔥🔥

This week just keeps on getting worse. First rumours of Skrillex, and now Major Lazer?

If next week brings rumours of Macklemore and Mumford and Sons, I might just end it all.

It's Coachella this weekend and next. I feel our headliner announcement will be made on the back of that, so expecting something in the next ten days or so. Real shame The Strokes are already committed elsewhere on the Saturday night...

Great lineup though. (the things that pops up on my FB..😵)

Very surprised how little The Strokes play European festivals, or appear to be.

Jassie Ware mentioned playing festivals this summer during her Q&A today. She also mentioned playing in the Netherlands in August (assuming Lowlands). I hope she can make it to Sziget as well! Her voice was just incredible!

    • Saturday notes:   MARINA - absolute highlight, a proper diva, I'm so glad I skipped the headliners for her. Also, the crowd was beautiful, no yapping, no pushing, just enjoying the music together. Primavera crowd at its best.   Ninajirachi - One would say that at the end of the last day of the festival, they must have told each other everything, right? Not really. There was still SO MUCH MORE to say. Primavera crowd at its worst. It was completely packed and someone was constantly pushing themselves through the crowd. It was quite difficult to enjoy the set, even though I love her music.   Olivia Rodrigo - The teasing, the speculations, finally the confirmation and the first reactions of people! When I was showing the "tweet" to my partner, there was a young girl standing behind us who asked me very politely if she could see it and if it is really happening here tonight and after she finally processed it, she had the cutest "Holy. sh*t." reaction. Few minutes later, when refilling the water, I almost lost it when another girl beside me started screaming "Oh my god! Oh my god! No way! Oh my god!", staring into her phone. And then also Robert Smith came. I must admit I'm not familiar with Olivia's songs (but I'm planning to change it) and can't really say I loved the set itself, but I absolutely loved the whole Olivia Rodrigo experience.
    • Few full sets on YouTube. The Cure and Skrillex are 2 that I’ve seen
    • Robyn hasn't sold out standing tickets at CO-OP live, wonder how many are left and if it'll have cheap tickets near the date.
    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
