Hi all. Long time lurker but first time poster. Just wanted to say how upset I am at the Skrillex announcement. I came from UK with my ex last year and loved the festival. This year, I am coming with three friends. We are girls all between 21 and 24. I saw previous Saturday headliners and thought it would be a great party vibe. None of us had even heard of Skrillex, but I hadn't heard of Anyma last year and enjoyed that so I thought I would give Skrillex a listen and watched the Lolla Chile vid. It's just noise 🤣 I didn't recognise one song and the crowd looked dangerous, he even stopped his set. I'm not ashamed to admit I was crying last night. I've encouraged my friends to come and thought we would have Calvin Harris or someone, but I'm just so upset. I realise I'm being stupid but please tell me there will be something really cool on somewhere else at the same time. My friends are being really good about it but I just feel like I've let them all down with promises of a great party send off.

You're not being stupid, you like what you like and you feel responsible for your friends' enjoyment of the festival, I completely get it.

If it helps, there's eight of us in my party and all of us are gutted by the announcement too. However, probably the best way to get over it is to remember it's just 90 minutes when you can go and explore elsewhere.

I'm sure Jorja Smith will be good fun before him too, then go and see what's on elsewhere for an hour or two.

Relax, the presence or absence of one or two artists isn't going to ruin your festival, don't worry 😉

And Sziget is precisely THE kind of festival that isn't just about the lineup. I go to an average of 6 festivals every summer, and I automatically tick Sziget off my list even before checking the lineup, that's how much I love it ^^

My advice: stay open to the different stages, every year I make some really great musical discoveries (and meet some amazing friends) there 🥳

It's the crowd that makes a festival a success.

I don't know what you're complaining about, Skrillex is a real catch. At Boomtown he's headlining alongside such heavyweights as Shaggy and Scooter. Major player!! 🤣🤣

Moving in - they probably went back to the pre-2014 formula, but of course they advertised that poorly

Moving-in ticket is from the 10th, so I think someone is testing in production.

Anyway, the fact that there was no clashfinder for Sziget2026 kinda itched me, so I threw one together.

It's not precise, but it's better than anything - feel free to give me your opinions about it:

https://clashfinder.com/s/sziget2026/

On the webpage most of the artist has stage written next to name (main stage and electronic stages).

Bad nerves and Wolf alice are on main stage for example days1, so you can update Clashfinder 😀

Agree.

That is why i see Sziget lineup as 3/5, but it could be so easly 4/5, with so many names missing and just around the corner

Nope, I think they are missing some names on the Dropyard, but other than that, that's pretty much it for the year.

I'd say, they haven't done the worst job (especially compared to the last two editions), but there is a long way to walk to get back to where they used to be.

Revolut artist revealed, no new names.

Looks like we pretty much have all the artists already..

Without wishing to repeat the whole "why did they book Skrillex?" debate, if there's no others acts to be announced I wonder who will be in Revolut while he's playing? I can only think it's going to be Charlotte Cardin.

She seems to be by far the biggest name scheduled for Revolut that day, other than Soulwax/2manydjs and there's surely no way they're going to be up against Skrill.

Weird wording on the email they sent out.

There's a section headed "Okay, but what is the Revolut Stage?" and the answer given states:

"It's your daily go-to spot for late-night live music"

Surely it provides music during the day too??

One would assume that she would be headliner for the A38 (23.45-1.00), but I honestly see Soulwax a better fit for that time slot. Beats me.

Anyway, I sense that some names are missing. The lineup is usually composed of 7-8 names, while this time we only have 6 per day (except 13 that has 5 names and 14 that has 7). I would be positive in concluding that they are missing something in the late night department.

After the headliner on the main stage I count:
11.08 - Dijon - Underworld - ???

12.08 - Ashnikko - Tomora - ???

13.08 - Parcels - Fckuers - ???

14.08 - Nation of Language (I guess...) - Nia Archives - Bunt.

15.08 - Charlotte Cardin - Soulwax - 2manydjs (but then you are missing somebody during the 16.00-23.00 slot)

I'm confused, ngl

I see 6 names per day on the website? And I would say that's it for Main Stage and Revolut. Same number of acts per day as last year...

Im more or less happy with the first 3 days, but barely find anything interesting for my taste in the last 2 days  (except: bmth/bbno$:not a big fan either, but at least i expect a good vibe from the crowd, less interested, but ill give a try: bunt, peggy gou, sigrid, skrillex, dimension, charlotte cardin). Honestly  I didnt like skrillex last time…

There’s less electronic acts on Revolut this year.  I wonder if it means acts like underworld, , bunt  etc will be the 2.30 onwards act.  Seems that way as they normally finish with electronic acts.

I think the thing with Skrillex is you either like his music or you don't (I don't, obviously). There's no much inbetween.

I'll give him a try again in the hope that the show is good, even if the music isn't, but after 2024 I don't hold out much hope. If Charlotte Cardin if in Revolut I'll take a wander there instead.

2manydjs is the act for my group on that last day, they can save it if they pull a good one!

I was really hoping that a decent rock or indie act was going to be announced for the Revolut while Skrillex is on main stage. When you think they had Papa Roach up against Charli XCX last year it seems crazy that the nearest comparable act for this year is Cassia with their 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify!?!!
