NOS Alive 2026

Recommended Posts

I've attended NOS ALIVE for the last 5 events and loved every minute. Planned to visit again next year, but the wait and anticipation of whether or not we will get artists already announced at MC have made me already book flights and accomendation for Madrid. I can now, sit back, relax and look forward to what i see as an excellent festival line up, in particular the Wednesday and Saturday.

why is that?

Because time and time again NOS Alive gets screwed over Mad cool even though is a bigger festival but covoes (the owner of the festival and everything is new) doesnt care or doesnt seem to have any pull on booking bands over mad cool. i could tell you over the years so many bands where this happens.

Sorry, mate, but you complain about everything. About names confirmed that you like, about names confirmed that you don't like, about names not confirmed...

sorry if i love APC and dont want to pay 86€ to see them play for 1 hour and the MOST LOGICAL choice would be to book them in the foo fighters days instead of nick cave and 21 pilots.

Before calling Covoes names maybe start with yourself. You and your taste are not of any relevance for bookings at NOS Alive. APC are playing Mad Cool on the 10th. So how exactly should they play NOS Alive the same day?

Haven’t NOS and MC basically got the same lineup so far?! Especially the headliners

Well one doesn't have Moby, KOL, Pulp or Halsey and they only have one sub left.

Sorry I should have been clearer…. Here have some stats, NOS is currently sharing 79% of their announced acts with Mad Cool so far… a whole 14 out of 19.

Headliners you ask…. Oh 100%

If you ask me, it’s pretty similar so far as I said

The headliners yes but that's a big dent of undercard difference.

Moby ??

Maybe? I know he's on Foos day at Mad Cool. Do we think he'd be main stage only or second stage?

Tbf, wouldn't be the strangest mix I've seen with Foos. That has to be when Taylor Swift subbed for them at Radio 1s Big Weekend back in 2015, which given Taylor is now the Goliath she is kinda makes me laugh.

Well, mate, I didn't want to be the one to tell you this, but...you know that things don't work that way, right?

so you say Nos are missing one big(er) name in the Foos day... and rest are smaller bands?
This would exclude Halsey (bummer:/ was really hoping for her) and KoL (thanks the lord!) which are on the same day at MC... and this is why you think of Moby as possible name. is that it?

NOS having less slots to play with will make a difference in the end, no? Pretty sure Mad Cool has more performers per day, anyway. Plus it being an extra day ofc.

It will make a difference yes but that's no reason to say they look the same lol while missing 4 of another's biggest acts but Nos don't tend to get the dame depth as MC do underneath. Right now though The Prodigy has put a spanner in slightly for Werchter.

You do realise that geography plays a bit part in all these, right?

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
