I was going to post I reckon that puts Kasabian heavily possible for Thursday. Razorlight out of that would be great but I've no idea how big they are there. Unfortunately it's Louis Dunsford I could see more so. But Kasabian I doubt are playing below a heavier headliner. I could see a day of The Prodigy, The Cure, Lewis, Kasabian

Kasabian, Prodigy, Razorlight are not the kind of 'first choice' acts can see RW book nowadays.

More something for smaller festivals like Suikerrock or Rock Zottegem in Belgium.

The same could be said for Fontaines and Amyl while they are booking Olivia, Noah and Gracie Abrams but it happened.

Very big MCR shaped whole in the tour here. My guess is they are playing Thursday. Unlikely with those dates they are playing Graspop or Hell Fest either with needing to wait around for 9 days after for the Liverpool show. MCR with The Offspring subbing is my thought.

It has been discussed a lot, but MCR and Belgium/RW doesn't match. Unless they want to play lower down the bill, which they won't.

Their insta DMs are hinting the Cure.

'you got the Monday blues'

'We have the remedy for you'

The Cure is probably the worst open secret for Rock Werchter lol.

They've left a very convenient opening spot there if they aren't doing it. I will admit that I forgot they weren't the biggest there.

Fontaines and Amyl are both a lot more current than Kasabian or Razorlight, not sure it was a comment about the genre but more the relative age and relevance of the acts.

They've got gaps like that the whole way through their tour, I'm not sure it points to anything about Rock Werchter in particular. I think it's more the logistics of booking stadiums and travelling with a particularly involved Black Parade themed stage setup.

Doubt MCR are doing festivals. Like SOAD they are only doing stadiums it seems. The whole black parade theme cant be replicated in festivals. Also about the breaks betweens days dont forget 2nd shows dates. Those are bound to pop up if the shows sell out as most if not all will during the day

Plenty of room there to play.

Prima Vera just announced their line up. Some of them might turn up at Werchter. Personally hoping for The Cure, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Mac DeMarco and Father John Misty of those announced so far.

There will be about two from the top lot at most with crossover and one will be The Cure.

I think although we've no definite she is touring, if she is then it would almost confirm Lorde for her.

Werchter and Prima have only shared a handful of acts (and nobody that big) over the past couple of years so I’d not expect many of them to crossover this time either.

Not counting the headliners id really like Little Simz to be there and I fully expect Viagra Boys to play

Agreed, think it'll be the Cure given they're playing throughout the summer and those Instagram messages.

Current guesswork something like...

Bring Me The Horizon, Twenty One Pilots, Turnstile

Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, Haim

Tame Impala, Lorde, Last Dinner Party

The Cure, Nick Cave, Wolf Alice

Maybe someone like Benson Boone though if they wanted a younger pop act nearer top of the bill.
