What a beautiful festival it would be if 3 of the headliners were Radiohead, Nick Cave and the Cure.

I could die a happy man.

I think Radiohead are going to hold off until 2027, I think Glastonbury will get them as well. Nick Cave unfortunately can't be ruled out for a co-headliner spot but not more than that please. The cure and SOAD would be the ultimate.

The XX would be great if they're back! Would fit as a nice closer in a co-headliner setup

Would absolutely love it, they’re absolutely great.

Few others on there of interest, The Strokes, CMAT, Royel Otis and would love to see Little Simz appear

Unfortunately, the Radiohead thing at Coachella is probably only an art exhibition.

From the line up I´d be happy to have The Strokes, Little Simz, Nine Inch Noize, David Byrne, Interpol and Wet Leg. Showing my age but I am totally unaware of who Karol G is. TikTok I assume;)

Side note: Rock en Seine might announce something today. Wouldn´t be surprised if it´s Sabrina. Same applies for Way Out West who changed their socials last week.

If I remember well, when The Strokes were planned for RW as headliner on the edition cancelled by the Covid, it was selling badly. They'll need a strong line-up to sell the day well.

Bad Omens have been announced as headliner for Tuska in Finland next to BMTH. In 2023, before they cancelled, Bad Omens were supposed to play Werchter. But I'd prefer to see them at Graspop (same for BMTH).

They could play that random tent early slot.

The RES act is supposedly The Cure.

If they are announced for RES, I don't see how they won't play Werchter. Regardless of the undercard, you generally expect Werchter will grab the biggest names around....and not take as much risk lol

Is that not a fairly long festival season for them then?

and more importantly…. The XX are back!!

Werchter is where my love affair with The XX started. They were hyped in the media, never listened to them until I wandered in the tent.

Been hooked ever since, every album 10/10.

For my tastes looks like a great year for music. Bjork returning would be the cherry on top of the cake. 😃

Don’t think Rock en Seine share headliners much with Werchter but the dates don’t really change anything considering they’re doing IOW in June and now this in August.

Presume there’s a chance for Pukklepop too.

I forgot about IOW. Rock En Seine shared Maneskin with them just last year. IOW starting on 18th June may make Primavera miss out though.

I would say The Cure are definitely in the running now. Robert Smith has already said he intends to retire by age 70 (2029), and given they have played Werchter on the previous festival tours, I see no reason for them to deviate.

I wouldn't do a prediction with them not in it now. It is a huge headliner 2 weeks after IOW now for them not to get.

Yeah they did in 2023 but it’s really not a regular thing and they often share more with Pukklepop.

The fact it's happened recently though doesn't deviate from the possibility. The Cure are also a band that aren't around like many others regularly so 'patterns' kinda go out. The Cure won't be playing Puckelpop over Werchter I'm almost sure of that.

They wouldn't be the first band to play festivals both in June and August. I agree The Cure could still be at RW.

The Cure and SOAD would be the strongest start for me. There are others that would be in there two but that's a massive two. They will probably get a weaker one but I hope any female headliner they get is Billie and after O-Rod it's likely.
