I’d say that was pretty brutal. Give me standing tickets any day. Kept selecting tickets and then vanishing.

After trying since 12pm eventually got seat in block 113 for Manchester at 1.35pm on the Wednesday.

Horrible experience though, but over the moon we got tickets. Literal bucket list artist.

I'm happy to sit as long as it's in the air so I can sit but not right at the top of the 02 for that. I did for Madonna but it was £75 and that was said stretch for there.

£200 each but there pretty good seats. Not floor but pretty good. Still £400 for two 😩

Managed a pair for the extra O2 date after having a nightmare trying to buy during worktime for the oiginal dates. Not great seats but they will do. I have never seen her before and so willing to do the £112 a seat but would have felf better with the cheaper seats but trying to select them was so frustrating that in the end just happy to bag any ticket.

I looked after and some came up for pretty closer on the floor. From £173 a seat upto to £200+. I'll probably think going for the £112 in hindsight was the way forward. I guess there is still a chance until it literally has all sold out in presale.

That's probably her 4th and final 02 date. It's very high up at the 02 top tier. I can't see her doing Glasto though based on those prices. I don't think after a resurgence and now touring, taking a Glastonbury fee will be top of her mind at all, nor do I think her expected to come stadium shows next week will allow it.

I get your point about US prices vs UK, but that's also like saying I shouldn't complain about someone kicking me in the balls because the guy next to me got kicked in the balls and punched in the face

Yeah who cares! That's in America, I've not intention of comparing America costs for gigs to the UK.

A gig in the UK for a seat costing £250 is suddenly alright because for an equivalent seat in the US....where they come from is £500. Nah go away with that rubbish.

Two wrongs don't make a right. UK pricing is just crazy for the economy we have, US pricing is flat-out f**king nuts. I already found this out when I saw Muse, Killers and Arctic Monkeys tickets for US shows in 2023 were 2-3 times the price of UK ones.

I was about 12k in the queue and everything had gone before I got there.. occasionally I saw seats appear then disappear when I was checking for an hour or so later.. going to try again on the main sale.. fingers crossed.

Runaway pricing in the land of the free is ruining things for everyone.

It's also why sports tickets are becoming crazy expensive too - match tickets are being benchmarked against stadium concert tickets.

this discussion has been had but apparently sports tickets are ok to be overpriced lol.

Got through in ten minutes today for the Thursday London date to be greeted with premium seating on at £418 - £540. The odd £218 seat coming up and £173 with a bad corner stage side view so limited unless she's out of the extended part. That's probably the moment you wish you bulked at £112 for the higher bit. But I don't think she's playing Glastonbury anytime soon. I know someone who paid £450 a seat too on presale day.

Blanked on Manchester #2. Had tickets in my basket to start the process a few times and got sniped.

Have seen her before, and will admit that while I think she's one of the best pop acts of her generation, she tends to fudge the setlists a bit for me, so will likely see if I can scrounge up nearer the time.

I went for those section 118 side view tickets.  It's possible there may be some rigging blocking the view, but often there isn't, in which case it's a great view from there.

It's still not going to be £173 of my money I don't have lol. There isn't single gig I'm paying north of £100/110 for a decent seat unless it's major. I've accepted I'm on the secondary market for tickets. I'm not really in a position to bite for the £112 one's on the presale but maybe should have found it somehow. I know right up there it's a very much looking down view from a similar point of where I paid £75 for with Madonna.

There will be people who have bought on impulse later on and think I wish I hadn't. She was someone I was willing to pay a bit more for but not that much. Partly as well most of the £112 were two seats together and I would just be going myself which they wouldn't let you select single seats.

Watching her at Coachella now - she's got to headline one day, she'd kill it

Haha i bet, I don't need to watch it to know that but I think her fees will be too high. Double the cost of Olivia for example minimum.

If they get her, it won't be quite the booking if Coldplay interms of what they can do but in terms of fresh, interesting and vibes absolutely top of the pile.
