Doesn't bode well for the full lineup.

A big been there done that feeling with these new names. I think we can forget VW too.

Looking less likely now, however they didn't announce Fontaines till the third announcement last year

Quite happy with those first names. The key to a good Pukkelpop for me is the Marquee and Club names. Thought we'd get two out of VW, Khruangbin and Kiwanuka so happy with that. Add in some of the names from Paredes De Coura and elsewhere and I think we're on for another decent addition.

Agree about the Benelux acts but Amelie Lens, ZG and Pommelien will shift tickets amongst the youth so can see why they've been announced early.

Thanks. Even if it's a solid line-up, I really have the feeling to see most of these acts everywhere non-stop. That confirms it.

Went to see Justice on Weds night in London and it was a great show. Fourth time for me but it didn't manage to surpass 2018 when they headlined the Marquee (granted, that is one of my top 3 shows of all time so their place in my Hall of Fame was safe anyway!).

The set up was different to Field Day last August but still had lots of the moving lights and the two of them standing either side of the flight cases. I had a brilliant night but if I do decide to go and see someone else who's on at the same time this summer, it won't be the end of the world. Chances are though I will watch them as my son is a massive fan and I'm sure @DDave will be there at the front going mental. Marquee would be amazing but the Main would actually imo be the best venue to do the show justice (excuse the pun!).

RW is announcing The Slope line-up tonight. So we will lose a lot of guitar bands for Pukkelpop.

I'm afraid that RW will announce Sex Pistols w/Frank Carter. I was expecting them for Pkp but that fact that they've just been annouced for a festival on Saturday 16th in the south of UK, makes me think that they won't choose Pukkelpop for their belgian summer date 2025.

None of both festivals make a lot of sense for that Sex Pistols project isn't it? I expect them at Lokerse Feesten or something.

Wouldn't be surprised if Lokerse announced them, or RW for that matter. The gig on the 16th does make them less likely for Pukkelpop, especially as they've got another UK date on the 23rd. Be great if they did get booked though. I did tweet Pukkelpop asking to book them last July so they've had plenty of time 😀

Frank Carter is a Pukkelpop usual booking (seen him once with Gallows and two with the Rattlesnakes). That’s why I thought he will be booked with the Sex Pistols. But maybe you are right and they will be in Lokerse if they dont get announced today for Werchter.

Looking at the bands from last year they look far too big for the Slope. Fingers crossed Frank will be the thing that gets them over the line for Pukkelpop. Three of the band are pushing 70 years old so we shall see.

Viagra Boys are supporting QOTSA in Sheffield week after Pukkelpop. Have a feeling they'll be booked for the Sunday.

Really strong drop with loads of great names across a range of genres. A lot of 'must see' acts already and we've only got about 20% of the line up!

Be interesting to see what stages some of them are playing, especially Friday which is obviously stacked. Rudim3ntal are doing a DJ set but doubt it will be in the Boiler as that's the techno night. Could be them and then Jamie XX in the Dance Hall as top end of Marquee is full so he won't be in there. Really pleased DJ Heartstring are back as their set in the Booth a couple of years ago was fantastic! Sammy Virji will be a party from start to finish on Sunday but also got a few bands I don't know much about to check out so very happy with what we've got so far.

Wife and I were potentially planning a late Summer festival and Lowlands really ticked a lot of boxes but sold out instantly. This has almost everything we wanted from Lowlands but with the added bonus of Idles, Justice and now The Beaches. Hopefully they keep adding acts of this quality, always fancied a trip to Pukkelpop.

This year I have really great difficulties. Because of my new job I can only do 1 fest and possibly no other concerts, there's a lot of acts I'd really want to catch for the first or second time but none of them is (still) at PKP, BUT... That's a really strong start indeed with a very solid 36-act batch, 282€ for the whole festival and 69€ for the 20 food & drink tickets are still a good value and I'm sure I would regret not buying a ticket because many other good names will come after the sold out...

So I have a few days to think very very carefully.

Addicted to The Haunted Youth, they could come to Portugal.

I'm more of a Sunday type of guy but Friday was so stacked that we ended up opting for that day.
First time for me that I will only do one day but I will soon become a father and I had permission from my partner to enjoy a day with friends (wife material here) so Pukkelpop 2025 here we go !

I did indeed experience some problems obtaining our tickets but nothing compared to ticketmaster.

Had to refresh the page two or 3 times, change payment method and it was good.
