Early Arctics, with terrible songs.

I loved The Courteeners and have seen them live about 15 times. I think Reytons are the next generations Courteeners. They’ve passed me by reallt but they have a huge following around parts.

Well I'm aware from the precedent of Courteeners that there can be regional variations with these things - they could legit play stadiums in Manchester but down south it's like Hammersmith Apollo or Brixton Academy level.

Pulp easily the biggest name they've had. They ended up having Fender timed to perfection when they did.

Very much so. Given the capacity and the ticket prices, and compared with previous acts, have to assume that either Pulp want to play and have given them a reduced rate, or Tramlines have gone way over budget.

Pulp played NBHD two years ago though, so maybe they're not as pricey as we'd expect. Or maybe they've offset their Tramlines fee against a much bigger wedge for Glastonbury. As a band they still have very strong ties to the city.

Did everyone who signed up for the Hendos get theirs today? Or were the photos online just from the shops?

Hope I manage to get one on Monday, they were a great little collectable tbh.

I signed up pretty sharp-ish for Tramlines, Truck and Y Not. Only got Truck today, so also wondering if there are still some in the postal system. Would love a Pulp bottle to go with my Human League one.

I would imagine Reytons were relatively cheap for a headliner.  Happy to endure them in order to get Pulp which is the best booking in Tramlines history.

Do we think Pulp will be the Sunday Headliners?

Got to be, possibly with Franz as the warm up.

Ok well that's reassuring, thank you.

I only signed up for tramlines but was also pretty quick.

I am also hoping that there is a Pulp bottle still sitting in a sorting office, waiting to be delivered next week.

I’m a postman. Delivered two today and received mine ( Rizzle KIcks ) 😏

Knowing Royal Mail at minute sure there will be plenty still in the system.

Apologies if already asked, but did the line up drop from last year go straight into Weekend AND Day Tickets or was it a staggered Weekend first with Day tickets on sale after? I'm probably just after that Pulp show tbh. I imagine that one might be charged a bit more than the other days tbh. Still will work out good value when the Sheffield Arena 2023 gigs were about 70+.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
