How confident are we that there are extra dates? Is it based on those leaked schedules and the initial info about the Wembley block booking?

Well the information was leaked before the announcement and was accurate, so it appears to be good info.

It looks like there will be an extra Wednesday added at both Heaton Park and Wembley and that will be it. Notice that the weekends are set up Fri / Sat and then Sat / Sun for both, leaving a two day break either side of a Wednesday date. It doesn’t make commercial sense to do a full stage set up at both and then leave it sat there for a week.

That’ll be it though, yes they could sell much much more but they won’t want to over do it if they are gearing up for a world tour and it’s been pointed out previously that Liam never does 3 nights in a row these days.

Those 16 nights will be way over 1,000,000 tickets, which is a bonkers amount but probably less than half of what they could sell. I think those who miss out will be waiting for a second UK leg in 2027

It’s probably been discussed but how much do we reckon for tickets? They were always proud to keep them low in the past but now Noel is a Moaning Tory (What’s the Story?).

Liam’s Definitely Maybe shows at the 02 were reasonably priced. Think it was £70/£80 for standing?

I saw someone on Threads say £175 for cheapest tickets at Wembley. No idea on the reliability of that info.

You couldnt ask that for the 500 level. People would hesitate. Thats might be £175 for rear standing and its £250 for golden circle

My biggest takeaway from this is finding out that Catfish and the Bottlemen are booked to play the third biggest football stadium in Britain??? WTF???

We're as confused by this as well in fairness. And not only that but also doing Principality/Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, which Oasis are doing two shows at and which will almost certainly sell out.

Not an Oasis fan but love all the excitement this is generating

Hoping being on the separate Gallagher mailing lists will be enough to get a presale link. Doubt it though

If you want to join the Oasis mailing list you can still access it (and the store etc) via the link they provide in their socials bio oasis.os.fan   Nothing mentioned about there being a presale tho.

There any whisper yet of being a support act?

... well Blossoms advertising it at their own show at the weekend makes them a possibility, as does the usual rumour of Kasabian given their previous in supporting both Oasis in their last tour 15 years ago and Liam G's Knebworth extravaganza.

Would be good to have The Charlatans back with them.

I was just thinking about the support. I wonder if they've kept in that hush that they didn't even have the support booked when they announced it today? They generally announce at least the main support when they announce a big gig.

Would like if they brought someone from the Knebworth support like The Prodigy, Manics.

Hoping its not the likes of DMA's, Courteeners etc.

True. A while ago I saw a thing that conspiracy theories fall apart when you analyse how many people would have to keep things secret for the conspiracy to be true, so logically, it was enough of an achievement that they could keep this a secret for as long as they did.

Or at least enough ambiguity that those who leaked the information this Oasis' reunion was on were met with "Pfft. As if, not gonna happen"

    • I too am always a bit blurred on what/who constitutes a legend slot but would Sting fit that bill?  Those there said his IoW slot was v good and he has enough of a songbook imo for a Sun afternoon if he uses the Police's 1st 2 albums for a fair chunk of it
    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
