Plenty more room for more substantial names, last year 2 Meadow headliners ere not announced til March I think.

Be very good value for money if they add more big names to that. Think it's looking very good in terms of depth already

Ahh okay, maybe there is more to come then! From memory, i thought last year the 2nd poster released was effectivelly the last update with any 'bigger names' - Dexys for example - so was worried we'd had our top of the poster sorted!

No issues with the lineup at all, by far the best value for money festival out there (even with the atrocious weather last year it was still one of the best)

BEARDED THEORY!!

I'm back hosting The Woodlands Stage all day for another Foolhardy Saturday!!

Join me and my pals amongst the trees as we bring music and revelry to this phenomenal festival. I'm proud to announce that joining me this year will be:

SHE DREW THE GUN

Merseyside Junkyard Soul

BARE JAMS

Effortlessly cool, feel-good, summer vibes

RUBY J

Soul, Blues & Jazz-infused goodness

NICK PARKER

Folk songwriter royalty

NUALA

Rising soul-folk star

And the absolute legend of UK comedy, STEWART LEE, will be joining us for a greatest hits stand-up set.

These acts will now join the incredible line-up over the weekend at Catton Park in Derbyshire on May Bank Holiday.

As usual, I'll be playing two sets, one kicking things off and then one evening show. It's such an honour to put these days together, and I can't wait to see you all amongst the trees.

Much love,

Beans xxx

I wonder if they will put him in as 'headliner' after Beans play his 2nd set?

Meaning a clash with Heaton. I can't see many people being dragged away from Heaton for comedy. You know, have you heard about this comedy? They have this comedy now, have you heard? Comedy? They have these people that do comedy? You know, this new thing, comedy. Have you heard about it? No. They do comedy at festivals now. Not just at comedy comedy. Have you heard of comedy, it's let itself go.

I would watch Paul Heaton over most of the lineup myself so can't disagree with you. That's as well as I had to mistake him at Glastonbury last time as clashes and all that.

Reading some more info that says there are still 3 more acts to come for the Bean's takeover - which takes it to the same number of acts as last year plus Stewart Lee..................... so I wonder if he will be like the poet we had last year and do lots of little slots in-between acts rather than one main slot.

Oh, and Heaton is likely not Saturday so would not clash with it anyway.

When is Heaton? Friday?

Manics playing Leeds on Saturday.

Confirmed now.

Manics Friday

Heaton Saturday

Iggy Sunday

Are these days confirmed?? By my reckoning Iggy could be any day, Heaton Friday or Saturday, Manics Friday or Sunday. I could easily be missing something!

and now I read your reply and yes that all makes sense too.....................

My preference is Heaton Friday, Iggy Saturday, Manics Sunday so if anyone from DHP is reading please make it so

Ah I was on a 'comfort break' at work and wasn't thinking but yeah. My reply means nothing.

All we know is that Heaton isn't Sunday and Manics aren't Saturday.

    • Alright fair, I thought she only did BST once. Though I do question how that type of pop show will translate to a stadium.
    • yeah, but I enjoy moaning about them too much so whatever I guess.   and besides... a few years from now there will be absolutely nothing on TV except for Coben based shows so I'd best get used to it...   🙂        (for anyone who has ever read a Coben book - are the books as utterly sh*t as the tv shows???)
    • Those in the Glastonbury ‘Tour’ thread buying tickets noticed it when tickets first went on sale.   And if you look at the blocks still on sale here https://www.axs.com/uk/events/1489025/muse-tickets?skin=theo2 blocks 410-414 definitely stand out as the only seating areas without tickets available, so appears that they still haven’t gone on sale.
