Coach Tickets 2025

Managed to bag myself 2 coach tickets from Taunton on the thurs. anyone know what sort of time this might end up being based on previous years? It looks like it might be a bit of a late one. I’m hoping we don’t miss too much or struggle to get a decent camping spot!

Well done. I would be interested in knowing this. It was 3.45pm in 2022, though has been in the morning in past years.

Does anyone have any info on departure times from York? A nice fella managed to get me and my missus 2 tickets from York on the Thursday. Don't care that we have to travel from London to get there, just happy to be in again!

Think they are early from further away.  Seen times of 7 or 8.45am quoted elsewhere.  Then about 6hrs journey

Seriously wild commitment. Love it.

Is it true that London departures have changed from the O2 to Wembley Arena?

Not seen it first hand but seen several reports that it's moved to Pink Parking at Wembley. Which makes sense as it's a huge purpose built multi storey coach park, that sits idle most of the time and has easier routes to the West, whereas the O2 area is getting much busier.

Pink Parking is to the East of the stadium though, so is a bugger to get to from any of the public transport options.

Yes it has they emailed me to confirm about 2 weeks ago (we got coach tickets in main sale) it is a right pain for me as it adds an hour in a taxi at 2.30 am to get to the coach but I can see that it makes more sense logistically

I got Wednesday coach tickets from Taunton in the resale a few years back and it was around 3pm ish, everyone I spoke to on the coach had also got theirs in the resale. Congratulations on the success, hopefully I'll join you on the farm this Sunday in the general resale

Wow, seems like Taunton was a popular option (First time that sentence has ever been used)

Also got lucky getting 2 Wednesday tickets, was too late for Bath & Bristol but remembered someone on here saying Taunton is a safe bet - whoever it was, I owe them a pint!

Hi, would anyone know the coach times from Glasgow or when it would get to the site? I was lucky to get tickets yesterday, but from Glasgow. I am hoping that the coach goes super early. Thank you

I also managed to get a ticket from

Glasgow yesterday. I know the National Express coach leaves Glasgow at 11pm on the Tuesday night. Have a feeling (just from some digging around) that the See Tickets coach leaves around the same time/midnight-ish.

Congress on getting a ticket. If it did go at midnight, we would be down for 7 or 8, which would be great, but super tired.

I bagged a couple leaving from London at 4pm Thurs. Should be there about 9pm I guess. Maybe sooner, it should be quite a bit quicker from Wembley than the old o2 slog out and around the M25.

I'm used to arriving Weds during the day, but I really shouldn't be moaning!

The good news is the coach and you will breeze straight in. There was zero traffic on the gates last year on Thursday afternoon / evening.

Really feel they shouldn't charge full price for tickets that arrive that late into it.

A mate of mine got a resale ticket in 2011 (I think) but it was a coach Thursday one, by the time he was at our campsite with a beer in hand he'd missed most of the day and said he felt like everyone was two paces ahead as they'd been settled in for over 24 hours by that point.

Conversely, it'll be nice to potentially have a semblance of life in me on Sunday. I'm usually completely done for by Saturday after caning it from Wednesday lunchtime.

Yeah definitely. I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of people who end up on Thursday coaches would prefer Wednesday but feel pushed into accepting the guaranteed second choice option rather than take the risk of rolling over into general where they may not get a sniff.

Seems unfair that they're effectively penalised for being substantially more flexible than I would be.

You're probably right.

I wanted a Thursday departure this time around due to personal circumstances, but would have preferred a 9am departure! It's a bit of a bummer, but again - I'm complaining when i absolutely shouldn't be.

Does anyone know what times the coaches from Sheffield on the wednesday are due to be?

Also, where do they go from? The interchange or meadowhell?

"It usually goes from outside the Penny Black, next to the bus station" - this was from 2023 so ensure you check your email:

There was a spreadsheet / list where someone put together this info for each departure point....

If you're wondering what time you're likely to depart - Northern coach spots seem to be 5am > midday and coaches anecdotally fill up from booking order. So if you got in at 1801hrs expect early. Though they obviously juggle groups to fill coaches (so a couple might get on an earlier coach with two spares)... all of this is pure speculation but I've been on the See Tickets coaches about 5 times and it does seem to hold.

NOTE - I've only ever gone from Manchester or Birmingham so can't vouch for the above!

    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
    • f**king horrendous and seems they couldn’t run an egg and spoon race.  zero info and the crush waiting to get in to see Massive Attack was potentially disasterous. Zero info, no stewards at all and was told that the whole evening was cancelled, when we got to the exit. Because it rained. First time attendee and i’ve got onsay, i’m far from impressed. Scalping bastard taxis asking €37 plus for an €11 fare too. Wonderdul.
    • Rumours are it's called The Lost Tour. In the US in September. Ireland in November (so UK+Europe a good bet around November/early December).
    • Hey guys, is there a group going for any solo y not goers this year?? I couldn’t miss out once I saw the acts but it’s just me and would be great to meet some others:))
    • After deciding to abandon the festival, here's a few of my thoughts (mostly negative tbf).    On the positive side - was it just me or were there a few more urinals than last year? Seemed to help the queues at the loos a bit from what i saw. Plus they had at least had some foresight and had a few more covered areas in the VIP areas.    Now on the negatives.  The weather was admittedly pretty crap but it wasn't apocalyptic. How the actual f**k are bits of the main stage falling off in those conditions?  Then the communication was awful, there's a load of people who left the site because they were told by security guards/other personnel that there would be no more acts on the main stage this evening.  You have an app Primavera, use it! Yes, there's a shitload going on I'm sure but communication with the festivalgoers should be one of the top priorities. You failed.    And I'm not usually somebody who buys into the whole "oh this is hugely unsafe and it's lucky people weren't hurt" narrative, but all the above led to movements of people that were genuinely unsafe.  Evacuating Mordor entirely (again... Why???) and then having a horde of people trying to get in because they thought they were going to Massive Attack was insane.  And given a lot of people basically abandoned ship around 10.30pm the crush at both the exit to the festival and the entrance to the Metro was pretty dangerous.   Conditions happen, most people will get that....but the contingencies have to be better.
