She will be there (but absolutely no surprise).

Quite happy with the direction of this years festival, and how the line up is taking shape. Not easy, things have massively changed over the last months. Excited for the next announcements and the feedback from the people.

Thanks Ken!

This week's announcements have revealed some really interesting undercard names and you saying that has got me very excited to see who comes in the next batch! Assuming we're getting one next week prior to tickets going on sale?

Do you know how many acts are likely to be announced this coming week and is it based on previous years you would be happy with?

thanks for the info, with the rumour that the 1975 are headlining glastonbury 25. is there any indication that we could see them at RW25?

Not for a high spot on the MainStage.

In 2019 they were headlining Reading and Leeds Festival.

That year they were 3rd on the MainStage at Werchter before Weezer, Bring me the Horizon, the Cure and Tool.

They're not that popular in Belgium and the Netherlands.

What about these bands ?

- Idles

- Future Islands

- Amyl and the Sniffers

- Tv on the Radio

- Turnstile

It would be nice additions !

And for electronic music, Paul Kalkbrenner, Floating Points, Jamie XX? Do you have any ideas of who might be announced ?

I’d say they’re all very possible barring Idles (were there last year so very doubtful that’ll happen even with the RW repeats!)

I'd love some of those names.

There are very few festivals in the world that Fender isn’t big enough to headline. Probably none in Europe.

I think it's perhaps indicative how average festivals are next summer.

Take Stormzy and Roskilde, which is perhaps a more crazy choice than fender.

It's quite interesting more festivals are trying to get under 21's, with cheaper tickets.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
