You think Rock Werchter might not announce on Halloween morning at 8am because the kids at 6pm need to be ready to go trick or treating? That's probably the weirdest one I've heard yet.

The reach of social media posts is sometimes influenced by factors that defy logical explanation...

Not sure Werchter announces tomorrow. They rarely announce the same day as another festival.

Yeah I thought that the Roskilde announcement might be totally unconnected. I'm almost certain Roskilde announced most of their line up in stages on the last day of the month nearly every month in a row for this year's festival (if that makes sense) so I thought they might just be doing the same this year.

On an unrelated note, Scissor Sisters seem to be adding their name to the ever growing list of bands reunited in 2025. Would love to see them here, missed them the first time around and those first two albums have some big tunes on them

Can’t be tomoz mate, didn’t you know the Belgium’s are getting their Halloween costumes ready at 8am 😂😂

So the chances are they are sharing a band with Roskilde? Interestingly?, Roskilde has had a female headliner close in both 23 and 24. Current guess right now is Olivia to play Thursday Werchter and Saturday Roskilde if it's her. We've never had a female act closing Werchter that I can see, don't see it now.

It's not going to be LP yet most have said. Metallica would be an option. I've just seen Fender played Werchter in both 22 and 23, I don't expect him back in 25 myself, wait for a next album.

Florence and The Machine headlined the main stage on the closing night in 2016 but I suppose that comes down to if you think they're a band or if it's Florence Welch by any other name

Well, The Machine is also a woman, Isabella Summers. She's stepped back from the band in the last couple of years, but would have been there in 2016.

They are what I'd say still female orientated to fairplay. I probably should have said recently but it does change stage of play a little to her potentially doing Thursday at Roskilde.

As someone else said earlier it’s likely that Roskilde will be a handful of names with headliners coming as standalone announcements over the coming weeks (if last year is anything to go by).  Might get a couple of newer names though to speculate about.

I'd go for Olivia, Fred or Metallica

Could that mean a larger batch of artists announced tomorrow?

To be fair I think he’ll headline, and I think it’s probably right. “Subbed” in 2023 before the initial Co-header due of Stormzy/Stromae and has sold out most of that Euro tour in minutes. Might need a decent day’s billing below him to fully sell out the day but it’s promising

Sam Fender confirming himself on insta?

Interesting. He's wrapping his tour in Brussles in March, and the show was sold out in like a day I think. The picture itself is a tease for sure, but couldn't it be just an additional tour date, due to high demand?

I think it’ll be him headlining; which will disappoint people as they thought he’d sub

I think that would be poor. Playing 22, 23 and 25 is just too much. Not what I was hoping for. Green Day, Fender, LP, Olivia I think looks way weaker with that booking. Could deal with him being the second of a co-headliner.
