Foo Fighters in Werchter was practically certain. Director had already said indirectly before starting the festival this year.
FF on Alive? 7 days difference between NOS Alive and the USA tour, strange

How many days is it this year? I know Mad Cool has gone to 4. If it's 3 then Arcade Fire and/or Dua Lipa are likely for the third headliner space.

July 11 - Smashing Pumpkins

could they be headliners?

Don't think so. The festival announced Dua Lipa as first big confirmation (aka main headliner) but didn't say that about The Smashing Pumpkings so they gonna be sub or even the spot below on the Main Stage. Can't see them headline such a big festival nowadays anyway...

Did headline it 4 years ago, but surely there's someone bigger above them.

Never seen them so good start from Nos for me.

The 2019 edition was a weaker edition compared to the recent ones. They also had Vampire Weekend headlining... 100% sure we gonna have another headliner than The Smashing Pumpkings in 2024 🙂

Hope we gonna have another name tomorrow!

than it only leaves Jul 13 for Pearl Jam

They coheadlined with Bon Iver. It's not gonna happen.

11 - Foo Fighters

13 - Pearl Jam

And the time between EU and USA dates for FF doesn't matter. They did that in 3 days this year.

in 2019 they changed booker, the old booker is Kalorama... I think that since 2019 Alive has fallen... the 2018 line-up is incredible.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
