2024 Ticket Buying Tips

Just did checks on both personal and work laptops. Personal one fine but work one via vpn connection gets to the Glastonbury site but not the Seetickets link. Just come up with an error message. I assume it is something to do with the vpn connection?

Hi, I think I read something the other day about when being in a different country the only form of payment is by credit card. I am currently in South Africa and will be trying for tickets in the morning. Was planning on paying for tickets via monzo card which is just a normal debit. Can anyone confirm please?

If you are UK registered then a debit or credit card is fine regardless of where you buy the tickets from.

If the card is UK registered, then it doesn't matter a jot what country you're physically in. It's still a UK card.

Yes - see block some VPN's - fortunately the one they use where I work is OK so I'll be using that on Sunday as an extra route in.

I know this has been asked so many times but I’m so stressed I can’t find the answer and I’ve just noticed one of our groups has no space in his post code on his confirmation whilst everyone else’s does have a space

They don't like known VPN proxies I know that, however jumping off a corporate network via VPN should be fine so long as that corporate gateway firewall doesn't interfere with the header, connection, certificate etc.

glastonbury.seetickets.com is currently pointed towards an Azure IP.

No idea what they're currently doing beyond that.

Auto Refresh Page seems pretty good - but probably any with any decent reviews is fine

What’s the benefit of this?

Less routing hops and possibly a degree of authenticity to the session. Who knows - worth a punt.

Don't have to control anything. It just works so to speak. I'll do a tracert on the day and see what the hop reduction is as useful to know for future.

So See is in an Azure tennacy yeah. Expressroute connects you directly to Azure. Likelihood is See tennacy occupies same node as we do. Inter node routing fast and enabled by MS. Authenticity looks good as we are already 'acreddited' for Azure access.

Only fly in it might be DNS. Depends on whether MS rigorously enforce their service IPs for this sort of thing externally. However the idea behind their service model is to prevent the need for this tbh - all Azure customers are meant to be one happy family 😉

I got tickets + coach just using 1 device and refreshing every second or 3 seconds. No rush at all, don’t saturate the website from your side, click wait and it will show up the next page✌️
