Kylie. Flashing back to being on shift now. I've done bar work with Shelter four times and have always been scheduled to work during the legends slot.

Never have I ever seen a manager/paid worker in attendance during those times.

I've posted before about a colleague skiving away for half an hour or so to catch some of that set. Said he'd cover for me to do the same but didn't want to risk it.

And of course The Cure. Only headline set I was vaguely interested in and/or could make given volunteering that year. Stayed for a few numbers. Thought Picture Of You was great but they weren't really doing it for me. Went off to find other experiences.

Watching 2013 highlights...some huge enthusiastic crowds for a lot of MOR AOR:  The Lumineers, Ben Howard, Of Monsters and Men, Jake Bugg, etc

I was watching this earlier, it was my first Glastonbury but the TV highlights are basically an alternate festival as I didn't see any of the ones you mentioned. Got as far into the show as Of Monsters and Men and Haim were the only ones I actually saw in person. Definitely one of Glastonbury's greatest virtues that you can have so many different types of weekend.

Hidden away on iPlayer is a Glastonbury’s Greatest Hits channel that’s played a few performances I’ve never seen before E.g. Portishead on the Other Stage, Django Django on the Park. Worth putting on!

Cheers for this shout, got it on now

Always staggers me how bored 50% of Pyramid audiences look during the day time

Good grief. I've got it on but I have loads to do still. Could do without the distraction tbh.
