BTW important to say - I'm not here banging a drum for VF, but there were some things that annoyed me about the EE app - which thus far are improved - that's all. 

What things do you find improved?

My main use for an app is to highlight all the acts I want to see, easily check it and compare stages.

This app in that regard is sh*t compared to the previous EE one and doubly so compared to third party options 

It scrolls vertically on the lineup page but not horizontally, wtf like. UX is just awful

App is rubbish for discovering new talent.

No info on what the artist plays of what type of music your going to hear.

At least the ee app had an info, this app doesn't even have a picture of the performer.

Isn't that what this is? 

And you can click on the link for more info. 

I think it works quite simply if someone is by a stage and see what's on nearby

God I hate how scrolling for stages on this thing. Only going to use for the map.

Not announced, other than saying "multi year", but I'd bet good money that it'll be minimum 5 and probably more like 7 years given how substantial it'll be.

The main intention of the contract is to provide core comms and infrastructure services to the Festival - to be blunt about it the app is a trivial and very minor aspect.
