If Coheed and Cambria can play the Avalanche, The Interrupters can.

No chance, they are bigger than Coheed and Cambria now. The Interrupters would play 4th down main which Coheed would not.

I admire your enthusiasm but your idea of where bands may play sometimes is well off.

Coheed would play 4th down on main. TheyThe played essentially the same venues on their last tour. They are of similar size. You wouldn’t be looking at a Spiritbox or Electric Callboy scenario if The Interrupters headliner the Avalanche, that tent is big enough for them (like it was for Coheed).

It's mainly just people on the official forums convincing themselves. Alot of them keep saying Aerosmith too despite the fact last time they played it was made clear it was the last ever UK show and they haven't played outside the North America since that tour.

They were 100% lined up to play Glastonbury for both the cancelled 2020 edition and then again for 2022 where they pulled out before being announced so I fully expect them to make one last final final run of shows or single show before calling it quits for good. Might be Glastonbury again (although I kind of think that ship might’ve sailed), their own huge show, or it could easily be Download.

I also wouldn’t at all be surprised to see AC/DC play Glastonbury instead of Download if they do happen to tour, but again, it really could go either way.

they are back on stage with Brian on vocals after almost a decade and are playing a festival later this year. also, hellfest moved a weekend further than usual and it could be because they've got a huge headliner, not to say that AC/DC are the ultimate dream booking by hellfest organizer, like he said too many times

Think Turnstile would probably be third down main now given their insane rise over the past couple of years.

And yeah, Trivium deserve sub, but given some of the other possible big names for next year, they’ll probably end up third or headlining Opus again.

Must've been like 100 people at the Leeds fest secret set last year

I agree that Turnstile should be third down but I wouldn’t be too surprised if they played fourth down. It’ll be the biggest party of the weekend, wherever they play.

I certainly don’t think five finger death punch for a sub no way .I’m still a firm believer in bullet for my valentine or possibly sleep token now given their rise to headline Wembley !

They are a weak sub but could happen with a strong headliner like DC, Sleep Token aren’t quite there yet. Bullet would be even weaker imo

AC/DC sort of need a strong sub. Not sure they're up to a full length set tbh. Judas Priest or QOTSA or someone who could be billed as 'Special Guests' would make a lot of sense.

AC/DC could have Steve from your local supporting them, it wouldn’t make a difference to ticket sales. They will sell out their day on their name alone. They don’t need a strong sub.

I don't mean they need a strong sub to help sell tickets I mean they'd need a sub who could play a bit longer, Brian's voice isn't what it was, even in 2010 they were taking quite long regular breaks between songs. They'll probably only be able to do a 75 minute set now, which is fine, but that leaves time to fill hence Strong Sub.

Would be a complete waste of money for them though, they would do 90mins at the very minimum if they were to play, no way would they do less - they would just take more breaks if they needed.
The booking team are more likely to want to book a stronger support act for someone like A7X to help day ticket sales.

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
