Fred Again.. and Paramore are both on AEG, not Live Nation. Not sure how much it means, but are we not thinking they're doing their own All Points East days instead if they're about in August?

Feels like half the reason why The Strokes' have done All Points East (x2) and BST Hyde Park in recent years, not R&L.

On that note, let's go with:

Blink-182 / Biffy Clyro

Eminem / Doja Cat

Red Hot Chili Peppers / Twenty One Pilots

You're on to something there.

In which case, all LN acts other than Blink who they absolutely booked last year.

Travis Scott / Blink-182 / Queens of the Stone Age

Doja Cat / Weezer / Lil Uzi Vert

Weezer would be a delight to simply crunch seventy-five minutes, but I cannot see it in a month of Sundays.

Bringing up dead conversation, what we consider big based on what we are exposed to and what we enjoy - Weezer were one of the biggest bands in the world like 15 years ago.

If you asked 16/17 year old me who should be headlining, it would probably be

Biffy Clyro | Queens of the Stone Age | MGMT/Weezer

ft. special appearances from Iglu & Hartly, Fort Minor, and Flobots

And i'm still all here for that tbh

Ask 13-year old me who should headline back in 04/05 and you'd probably hear

Greenday | Gorillaz | Eminem

And again, I really am down for that!

Weezer were not one of the biggest bands in the world, you were just caught up in your own personal echo chamber because you surrounded yourself with people who also liked Weezer and was exposed to rock media that covered Weezer.

THAT WAS THE POINT

When we are younger, a lot of what we consider big is purely based on our exposure, and we had a lot less reference points at that age.

What all the kids my age were listening to, what was being played at the backs of buses, what was played on mobile phones in the playground, or MP3s with shared headphones, the youth club soundtracks etc.

Weezers Pork and Beans had just came out and it was EVERYWHERE a 16 year old would be. It was even used in the trailers for the latest Jim Carrey films of the time.

How do you know? Can you give us anymore hints?

He owns a pub down the road from FR office and a regular customer worts for FR, telling him who theyve booked. Other years he peers through the window of the office and looks at the draft poster before its released.
