Got an awful feeling Rudimental are gonna be one of them. I know they’re not relevant anymore, but then neither was Dizzee Rascal a few years back, and they seem like a fairly easy going dancey ‘nostalgia’ act to be stuck there. If they’re on the Sunday, fine, but if they were on the Friday… lame. But fingers crossed they’re just mid-Other where they belong.

I wonder if FKA twigs was supposed to be one of them but after cancelling all her shows they’re now looking for a replacement.

Did Dizzee get a poor crowd does anyone know? It was a safe and boring booking which went down poorly on this forum, so a good comparison with Rudimental. Just wondering if that did/would result in a small crowd.

WH headliners are generally/usually "party bands"

I like Kraftwerk and they clearly fit being 'electronic' as WH previous headliners often have, but they're not really a party. That said neither is Cat Stevens and he's playing what has been one of the biggest 'party' slots for most of the past decade. I'm also not sure Glastonbury has a stage/slot that fits Kraftwerk much better.

bad bet, its not going to happen, they're touring north America. i was told a few years back by an experienced booker that they are either doing festival shows, or tour dates in halls, and they don't mix up the two. they're touring the usa this summer.

I’m in no way championing that it is happening but aren’t they playing along King John’s Castle in Dublin (which I think is outdoor?) a few days after the festival?

i you could be right about that (i didn't find a full list of dates), it would make them more likely for glasto i'd say.
