Any chances to have new names tomorrow too?

You would have assumed so, but there's nothing to indicate that will happen. @Sziget2023_Leaks isn't around and the official comment earlier in the week implied nothing for another month or so. Seems a strange way of doing it, I must say.

To me it's also weird that they are increasing the prices for 6-day ticket to the max in January, I remember in previous years they were doing that in may-june... 🙃

I dont think we are.

It is for people that can than only go there on the specific dates or based on a headliner.

A reason they can rise the prices.

It is starting to look like ful price ticket is going to be very expensive and eary birds for 275€ was worth buying. I kind of regret my waiting, full lineup with day splits will be near 400€ together with fee.

Hopefully that's also because they've got some great names included in the next announcement (although I suspect it's more to do with the massive increases in prices of everything at the moment).

You shouldn't worry, except if it's going to be a stellar lineup. Otherwise I guess you will be able to find 6-day passes on Ticketswap at acceptable prices.

Last year you could buy tickets there at early-bird prices, maybe even cheaper, despite on the website you could buy at full price.

Judging by the splits showing on Instagram, it appears Florence, Sam Fender and Foals are all on the first day.

Foals in A38 after all? Surely not!?!

I guess Fender or Foals were booked as subheadliners for the original first day (9/8) and this day was the only day the could be rebooked.

Reasonable option

The 10th is stacked but will have some painful clashes for sure (which is something Sziget can't allow itself this year tbh). I predict the MS to be filled with Los Bitchos - Foals - Sam Fender - F+TM and the A38 still has to release the headliners, with Viagra Boys and The Comet is Coming splashed as some interesting undercard that will surely clash with Foals and Sam Fender

11th has Yungblud - Imagine Dragons to set the demographic they aim to target very clearly. Jamie XX, Partiboi69, Mall Grab makes for a nice night, but so far the day time does not look promising (which is a shame because 3 days forces you to attend such a day after the very strong 10th)

12th has a strong demographic hint as well, with the Main Stage comp (Mimi Webb - Neill Horan - David Guetta). Honestly, to my tastes, it follows the same pattern the 11th does: interesting night (Moderat - Kelly Lee Owens - Jungle By Night) and nothing of interest during the day. I would not spent the 800-ish euros that 3 days experience require on this.

13th suggests a rock field-day, with Nothing But Thieves and Frank Carter on the Main Stage. M83 and Dixon during the night is just class, but since the 14th only has Amyl & The Sniffers and Sven Vath released (interesting names, but nothing I would spend money on), I would not go for the bet to buy 12-13-14, since Sziget tends to be often inconsistent with latest name release

15th can be interesting. Billie Eilish and 070 Shake are surely two performance I'd be glad to watch, but there is too little released so far. I'm sure it will sell well, but it will be based on Billie Eilish alone.

All in all, I'm not planning on going this year, because money is tight, BUT if I had the budget to do 3 days, either I'd wait for 13 headliners and 14 whole day to be released to aim for a 13-14-15 three days.

10-11-12 seems nice but it looks like a trap for a 25+ year goer. On the other hand, 10th has the best Main Stage and it might be the only day the field does not look like Mad Max (the cough will not be forgotten, nor forgiven)

I'm thinking of buying a 3 day ticket, I'm a bit tight with money and vacation days. Day 1-3 suits me best because of transportation and nothing is going to get better than day 1 lineup to me, but on the other hand Day 2 and especially 3 are very average.

If it turns out Day 4 is going to be rock oriented I could extend and buy one day pass.

How much do you reckon one day tickets will be? If they are 100€ or more it makes sense to buy 325€ full pass now and keep the options open i guess?

Weird how the first day alone is better than the entire 2022 line-up 😉

looking back, I actually LOVED the 2022 lineup. some of my favorites performed and I got to find some amazing new bands and acts. under appreciated lineup for sure

Yeah, I was being slightly facetious. We had a great time too but Sam Fender and Foals are two of my favourite acts at the moment, love a bit of Florence too and discovered Los Bitchos and Destroy Boys since they were announced. I have a very good feeling for 2023. Just need Blur and Green Day to be announced as the final headliners now...

I think it's a lot more likely that either them or Sam Fender will play at 17:45 on the main stage. Imagine putting a Reading headliner in a tent, it's a recipe for chaos. We have seen Twenty-One Pilots perform from 18:30 when they were pretty much on their peak, so I think a Foals or Sam Fender gig at 17:45 on the main stage is pretty likely. They can still put Viagra Boys in the tent after Florence as they did with Arctic Monkeys + Fontaines DC last year.

So I think on the first day we'll see a Hungarian indie band on the main stage from 16.00 (someone like Carson Coma from last year), 17.45 Foals, 19.30 Sam Fender, 22.00 Florence.
