If he is touring next year, he would be a good shout.

He was on a lineup that got cancelled due to Covid.

I'm not sure if he's in the Ian Brown, Ashcroft camp who refused to play due to the government guidelines on Covid, not sure if there's ill feelings or burnt bridges there

No, I dont mean he is avoiding it due to being an anti-vax type.

Its just he was on a lineup a few years ago when that years festival got cancelled due to covid. So, as he was confirmed for the cancelled year, I thought the bookers must like him and he seemed ok to sign before. So it follows he might be on the rader as a potential booking if he is active.

If he was then he wasn’t as vocal as them.

The Coral, that’s another I’d love to play.

Btw, victorious only normally do a small announcement in December normally.  Wonder if it’ll be bigger now it’s 3 full days

Would love to see Ashcroft/brown back on the bill.  Also, more a smaller acoustic stage type, but Chris helme has been touring playing the seahorses DIY album in full.  Would be mad not to book him!

first year I haven’t booked up early bird tickets so waiting on the lineup/ govt April energy announcement before booking anything 🤣🤣

I had tickets for the year Brown was to play but hopefully that ship has sailed and he will not get booked again. I was at the Brixton gig on his latest tour and frankly I was just bemused by it all. The set up with no band is so poor.  However, most of the people there were loving it, so maybe it was just me and a few others that never got it. I think there are lots of other better options.

given the backlash he will likely bring a band about next year anyway - think festivals could be a bit wary to book him in big slots without it

So I’m having a look at this Neighbourhood Weekender Lineup.  I reckon from it:

Heaton & Abbott have got to be a Castle Headliner or Sub on the Main Stage

Ella Henderson, Reverend and The Makers + Inspiral Carpets all seem like typical Victorious acts who’ll play too.

Then I thought… who was at R&L last year and who are touring (and not announced for IOW) and DMA’s and The Lathums really stick out.

(Basically I’ve nothing to do tonight 😂

Are they definitely about next summer? They've just done 2 and the album came out in 2020 - with shows in 2019 and early 2020 too. Could see them being done for a bit potentially
