Probably a similar output to the BBC. However, if there's only a shower or two, it presents it as sunny/fine day. (I dont believe it has a part rain/part sun weather image)

PolygonWindow
UKMO is the sh*t btw. I reckon if there long term outlook is still good/ encouraging tmo we are golden (regardless of their daily forecasts, which as we know can flip between shower or no shower in seconds!) Let’s hope not to concede in extra time post Sun and take this to pennos. Especially if we’ve got WC Harry Kane taking ours

2019
Does anyone here know what the overnight temperature on site is currently like? I'm camping in Sussex this weekend, and last night was unpleasantly cold. I'm going to have to tog up more.

Hate being cold. It's my thyroid I suppose. Can we have some wind experts entering the thread now? I'd love to know potential wind speeds and direction... It's a good job we're all different and none of us gets a vote, because I would have 20c dry over 24c damp any day of the week.

Unless it’s really hot (30 degrees+) I always keep a separate jumper in my tent. This jumper never leaves the tent, it’s only for sleeping in, and separate to my going out jumper so even if it rains I’ll always have something dry and warm. Being cold and trying to sleep in a tent is the worst.

briddj
Will the GFS play ball and get into line with other models in the 12Z? Let's find out! THROUGH TO GATES OPEN Similar levels of rain on Sunday to the last run, which is nothing to cause the site problems with dry Monday with temps of 22. The site will be back to it's pre-weekend rock-hard state by the end of Monday even if there is more rain than forecast. Tuesday is an improvement, with the heaviest rain further east and missing the site. Latest run on the right. Obviously, still a bit of a close call. Dry when the gates open on Wednesday, temps of 18. Wednesday itself is pretty much the same as the last run, with only the possibility of very light rain. Highs of 21. THURSDAY Improvement: Completely dry with highs of 20. FRIDAY Huge improvement! The rain tracks north through Wales, and it's a completely dry day. Highs of 22. SATURDAY Some very, very light showers showing in the afternoon - but you would even notice they've happened. It's effectively dry with highs of 22. And... hold your breath... Yep, the finger is coming in! Latest run is on the right. You can see the reds are pushing up to the UK, and keeping the lows - the yellows - to the north. SUNDAY Completely dry, highs of 25. SUMMARY A superb run with no rain of any note throughout the festival - and the high winning out against the low. Are there any more twists and turns to come? 2
