Everything seems to be aligning for Starmer. He can now simply piggy back on the deal as obviously you need to travel throught the EU to get to the UK.

Just found the article on it and she is saying the ones she sent him have also "vanished".  But she also isn't saying she got a new phone. lol

She is playing the same card as Boris with a worse excuse 😛

She says she raised it constantly with spaffers chief of staff and he ignored her implies it was a known staff decision to delete them was probably done on spaffers instruction by a junior staff member in no 10.

The one that is of no relation to Boris and is now in the House of Lords

You can also delete messages for both parties in WhatsApp which is what Johnson might have done.

That would show as "Message deleted" though, which she should have to prove in my opinion. And has much more serious connotations.

if you're going to the trouble to delete might as well delete both sides of the convo.

"Chats are stored separately on each person's device.

So if Person A and Person B are exchanging messages, then both of their phones will have a full, and separate, record of their conversation.

Messages can only be deleted for everybody up to 48 hours after they are sent - and a note appears for all participants saying this has happened.

But any messages older than that can only be deleted by someone on their own phone.

So if Person A deletes a message that is more than two days old, Person B will still have it.

It can only be deleted from Person B's phone by someone who physically picks up that phone and gets into their WhatsApp account.

There's also a feature called disappearing messages.

But that feature only launched in the UK in November 2020 and messages sent before this was switched on would not vanish."

Disgraceful...bloody lawyers defending people...

Pretty obvious now the Tories have realised their only last-ditch cling to power is to smear the opposition. It's straight out of the Trump playbook - just make up any old sh*t and do it enough in the hope something will stick.

The bad news for them is the last 13 years.

    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
    • A lot of people have said this online but does the Marvel world need new cities to play with? New York seems to be a target of all the villains to the point where you wonder why anyone in that world still lives there. Much as you can accuse me of overthinking it I guess haha.    I do agree that The Void is a compellingly different villain in many respects given the superpower is trapping people in their most traumatic memories. Shame in some respects the film came out in the post-Endgame funk Marvel seems stuck in and a lot of people missed out on it.    Speaking of, I rewatched Infinity War the other day. First time I think I've seen it since seeing it in the cinema on its opening day. Holds up pretty well imo - I have issues sometimes with ensemble casts and jumping between 4/5 storylines but it felt this one got the balance right and also properly explored Thanos. So it was good.
    • I didn't think I'd ever watched a Coben adaptation or read one of the original books, though turns out I did - I watched one called The Stranger back in 2020. Clearly didn't stick long in my memory as until researching it, I didn't know that was one of his. Queens Gambit or Black Mirror, it was not.    But clearly it's popular tripe in some respect if Netflix is going yes to everything he has to offer and are apparently about to start trying his most popular individual character, as seen below:   https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2026/jul/30/how-harlan-coben-became-the-king-of-potboiler-tv   Plus hey. Sometimes people get a kick from watching something and deriding it as crap. Don't let this internet rando stop you haha
