almost feel sorry for her

I don't but I know what you mean. Once they start to become pitiful figures to feel sorry for that's very much the end.

Johnson almost did but then basically did a resignation speech that said he was great so never quite managed it.

Nah don’t feel sorry for them, look at what they’ve inflicted on the country over the last 12 years.

She's simply not up to the job. On any level. Most of us wouldn't be. It's a really hard job. But most of us aren't deluded to think that we could do it. I know I certainly couldn't do it. So, for the good of the country, I've taken the very important and noble  decision to not try and be PM. There, I've said it. And none of you can change my mind.

What a noble decision indeed, you should get a knighthood 😜

I reckon I’d do a better job at the press conference than her 😂 …

How does that work ? Surely when truss goes the interim will be coffee ? Unless she stays untill the next one is voted in ? Whoever that might be

As in he’s got his hands on the economic controls and that’s all that matters currently. Yes it will change if she goes.

I read suggestions elsewhere this was the compromise as the tories don’t want another leadership election. She’s pm in name only

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
