What a disaster for the Tories, the BoE has now had to step in and rescue the country from the economic mess that they created only last Friday.

The Tories are done.

Now then...where were we...

I was actually going to write that I agreed with Baz Fish's posts above (except maybe the Bring Back Boris bit)...but then the website went down...an omen maybe.

Anyway, will they uturn on these tax cuts? Will Truss sack Kwarteng? Maybe put Sunak in there?!?

The NHS is fucked right now.  It doesn't really work.

Phoned the GP yesterday for an appointment. 40 mins on the phone and then an appointment for october 10th over the phone. It is mental.

Remember being a kid going to the same docs and you would get an appointment within a day or 3.

QE restarted because the bond market was about to blow all the pension funds up.

Erm these stress tests that the BOE run that everything always pass. They work well then.

The Tories are finished and they’re finally starting to realise it.

Had a quick read of the comments on daily mail, they’re super critical of the tories so even if the bonfire that is the comments section on the daily mail are against you then they are done.

This has the feeling of Black Wednesday in 92...Tories never recovered from that until they were kicked out in 97.

Depends as BOJ and ECB had already cracked, now we have as well only really the US left standing.

It’s the un-funded tax cuts for rich that has done this nothing else. There’ll be a lot of people trying to amend the narrative to give the Tories an easier ride over the next few days we shouldn’t fall for it.

Less than half the amount we spent on Covid tests? Yeah ok If you believe that I've got a bridge to sell you. 😆

    • Remain self-imposed on not going north of a hundred, but... we're getting to the point now where the starting gun will be above that for some acts.
    • I'm finding the lower line up a little impenetrable this year   Any thoughts on heavier bands a la Slift a few years ago?
