Michael Fabricant was wheeled out on R5 earlier.  The producers must love him at times of crisis.

"Who can we get to come on who'll make things worse?"

"That guy who looks like Boris has been left too close to the heater"

Was watching him too, he is dreadful and has no shame. Surprised Keir Starmer wasn’t there in place of Angela Rayner bit rubbish from him

The thing I really love about Johnson is that you know, no matter what he says or how things seem, that the next self made crisis is just around the corner.

This is the pay off for those of us who've sat through his shit show for the last two+ years.

It honestly makes me feel so depressed to realise it's not even three years yet.

just came across this: ....

The NHS is always in crisis. It’s the public policy equivalent of the DFS sale.

I think NHS is looking a bit fucked actually...needs so much money after austerity+covid...does the public want to pay even more taxes after next rise?

Maybe they would if they thought Sunak or Truss could do a better job (and do as well in an election)

Then they should stop saying they’ve had enough.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
