Really unimpressed with the current set. Some should be staples out (Dead Boys, Get You Down), and poor picks from the new album (would like Wild Long Lie, Chin Up, Rein Me In). Most of all it's pathetically short at 14-15 songs. Hope there are some major changes for the UK stadium run.

He's never been a long show fella, but assumed with three records, he'd be up to eighteen songs and 105-minute sets.

If he plays ninety in stadiums, you're going to feel pretty shortchanged.

I suppose that’s where the similarity with Springsteen ends😊😉

Off the basis of three albums, and the fact he could definitely afford to play eighteen a night, think my ideal right now would be:

The Kitchen

Getting Started

Dead Boys

People Watching

Get You Down

Arm's Length

Chin Up

Will We Talk?

Crumbling Empire

10 Spit of You

11 Wild Grey Ocean

12 TV Dinner

13 The Borders

14 Little Bit Closer

15 Seventeen Going Under

16 The Dying Light

17 Something Heavy

18 Hypersonic Missiles

I wonder if length of set is related to his vocal cord issues in the past (such as December) and it’s a way of ‘managing his minutes’. If so, seems unlikely we will get a consistently longer set.

That said, he did do 20 songs at st James park previously so stadiums will probably be longer.

Add in Saturday please and that’s pretty perfect 👌

Another should-be setlist staple. Bin off Getting Started to make room.

Nah, add it in. If Brian Johnson can do 21 songs with ACDC pushing 80, sure Sam can get going. I am aware that he's had health issues however, so maybe it's something to do with that.

Looking forward to seeing him at Big Weekend! Guessing only an hour set so heavy on the new stuff, but a great price and Wolf Alice too

I assume he will mainly play 5 new songs + the borders , getting started , will we talk , 17 & hypersonic missiles.

Although it would be nice if Angel in Lothian came back onto Sam’s setlist

    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
