Are you asking if they are good fields to camp in if there's rain, or which bit of hem is best? I mean, at the top of a hill is probably best but that's obvious. Do you need GPS co-ordinates? I'd say just avoid any obvious depressions in the ground where puddles or pools might form.

jparx
I usually camp in either those fields. Mainly becuase I'm not at all fussed about camping in the busiest areas and I'm more bothered about dumping my stuff as quickly as possible when I get off the bus and want to get set up and enjoying the festival! They are fine fields, decent toilet provisions and a big tent selling coffee and various basic food. Had no issues there my first time so I've just stuck with it. Only issue would be the walk to and from SEC but I don't mind the trek personally.

dingbat2
Pylon is fine, its on a slope so never floods. All the water goes down the hill and into Rivermead and the stream but I havent ever known Rivermead to flood in the past 10 years. There is s stream to catch all the water at the bottom anyway so its fine
Spindles
Both fields are ok when weather hits, however the madmen who camp at the bottom of Pylon by the path into Silver Hayes need to get their heads checked.
