Portable Bluetooth speaker recommendations?

Recommended Posts

It is my birthday coming up and my husband also owes me for something I helped him with so I’m looking for something with no expense spared (within reason). Has anyone got a Bluetooth speaker that they would recommend?

I have this one i use when travelling as it is small and light.  None of B&0 (beoplay) are the cheapest, but if you hunt around you can normally find somewhere with a sale on

This one is not the most portable, but is ridiculously loud and highly recommended if you are only going to use it around the house or garden

My son swears by his Bose (I have told him to stop and just play music from it ;) )

Oh and friend has Minirig which is great as well.

I don't know Minirig so can't comment on those, but the B&O and Bose ones I've heard have all been fabulous (but they are pricey, hence I don't have one of my own!)

I like these.

Minirig are based in Bristol, everyone I know with one loves it, including myself 🙂

Looks like the mini versions are not necessarily as well reviewed as the full monty.

Do you have budget in mind? Personally I recommend pretty much anything b&o but pricey £200-300 or other end of scale I'd say jam classic(but old version, new model I found tinny) or anker are a very good cheaper option £30-40

Yes definitely the higher end. The b&o ones do look amazing, I was just concerned about paying a premium for the looks/brand and not the substance but it seems a few people recommend them. I like the minirigs too tho
