I like SP but really hope they don't headline ou don't even play. Now i'm really expecting Tool to be the third headliner. The other two will surely be Slipknot and a sunday old rock band (Def Leppard or Kiss)

Couldn’t see anything to link Def Lep or Kiss

I'll be massively shocked if they play. I think that religious ornament thing is a reference to Ghost.

Agreement, they feel only just big enough for a headline and I'm not sure their new material has been high enough profile to push them to headline bove others.

I was at the show and that exact thing was there though.

If one of the pictures was Billy Corgan smashing a pumpkin with Download Dog, I'd urge caution about predicting them to play Download. They've never been ones for festivals like Download and they'd be headliner or nowt if they were to play, and I don't see Download giving them the headline slot.

Can't see a Download without an old rock band, would be too daring for them. I think Slipknot are almost 100% confirmed at this point, and Copping really teased Tool and Smashing Pumpkins, so one of those will surely be on the bill

Tool would be great

That animal fella in the corner is a Behemoth by the way. Not sure who that is meant to indicate.

I searched for that zombie thing and it came back saying about 'Mayday', which unless it's a reference to an album title I can only think Mayday Parade.

I thought maybe the zombie could be the undead... Hollywood Undead, perhaps?

Tool and Pumpkins getting equal set lengths would be great. In essence they would be co-headliners. It’d definitely be a big selling point and perhaps done because of Tool having not been here in so long with no (announced) new material not being sure about their drawing power as a headliner in 2019.

I’m almost certainly chatting bollocks but it’s the dream, that top two.

    • I had a great time yesterday and came to the conclusion that everytime (or, more accurately, both times) I didn't have a great time at Primavera, it was water-related. Either there was too much of it (Thursday 2026) or there wasn't enough (Thursday 2022, week 1).
    • I sacrificed the first hour of the cure for Role model yesterday and oh man that was a good bet! That guy and his band are insanely good and an hour long only bangers!

    • Possibly not as there are chair size restrictions in the seated area, for the guidelines see here -  https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/bring   Have a look into applying for Access and I would recommend contacting them for further advice before buying a ticket - https://www.bbc.co.uk/backstage/radio2inthepark/access  They should also be able to answer if you can take a wheelchair into the seated area 🙂
