That's a busy schedule! Are you gonna split yourself in four?

hahaha yeah i know what I need is that thing from Harry Potter with Hermione.

I need to really colour code them but I have the organisational skills of a slug

Slugs recycle organic matter and are incredibly important for building soil. You can't even colour things in online.

Have a word with yourself, Ollie, FFS!

A couple of things aside, Swedge, I like the cut of your jib. Almost identical to mine. Although most of that could go tits up once I get there.

Thursday evening / night will probably be Glasto Latino for me.

Has anyone had probs saving their Clashfinder schedule? I joyously compiled mine on Weds, only to find there was no save button as there was in previous years and it was then lost. I'm logged in so can't be that

recompiling isn't the worst duplication of labour but I want to make sure it's saved for the weekend I actually need it!

Wednesday

Drink, wander, drink, wander.

Thursday
Drink, wander, drink, wander.

Friday

Drink, wander, drink, wander.

Saturday

Drink, wander, drink, wander.

Sunday

Drink, wander, drink, wander.

:)

Edit: As ever with the clashfinder, this is just a guide to what I intend to do now. In the actual event there may end up being more drinking involved.

I'd recommend seeing Pumarosa on William's Green on Thursday before those two, means you'll get a decent spot (which isn't usually too hard tbf) and I can see you liking them.

I've heard alot about Pumarosa what are they like??

Struggling to think of a good comparison but I think their album is definitely worth a listen given some of the stuff you've highlighted like The Big Moon, Wild Beasts etc

This is the standout track from it

I'm interested that you put TBA's in, who do you reckon they'll be. I hope no one good or that adds yet ANOTHER clash to my logistical nightmare that is glasto

Everything seems to now be pointing to Elbow on Friday and Liam G on Saturday. I'm seeing The xx in Glasgow in August so I'd been considering giving them a miss if the TBA turned out to be someone like Arcade Fire but if it turns out to be Elbow I'll probably just be at the Pyramid for xx/Radiohead. On Saturday if it is Liam I'll definitely be there, if not King Giza are playing around then and I'll have them as a back up.

I've been meaning to give them a go for a while after seeing them recommended on here by a few folk but kept slipping my mind. Will give them a listen on the way to work tomorrow

Not going but planned a full itinerary out anyway because I'm pathetic.

Thursday I'd probably just watch films.

Friday:
Bo Ningen (Park) - 12:15 - 13:00
Henry Wu Presents the Kamaal Williams Ensemble (West Holts) - 13:30 - 14:15
Ata Kak (West Holts) - 14:45 - 15:45
Pat Thomas & the Kwashibu Area Band (West Holts) - 16:15 - 17:15
Angel Olsen (Park) 18:00 - 19:00
Lorde (Other) - 20:45 - 21:45
Radiohead (Pyramid) - ? - 23:45

(would get try to get a good spot down the front for Lorde and make it over to Radiohead whenever rather than rushing)

Saturday:
Girl Ray (William’s Green) - 14:00 - 14:40
The Big Moon (William’s Green) - 15:00 - 15:40
Run The Jewels (Pyramid) - 16:15 - 17:15
Toots & the Maytals (West Holts) - 17:30 - 18:30
The Avalanches (West Holts) - 19:00 - 20:00
Solange (West Holts) - 20:30 - 21:30
The Jacksons (West Holts) - 22:15 - 23:45

Sunday:
Real Estate (John Peel) - 13:00 - 14:00
Julia Jacklin (Park) - 15:15 - 16:00
Lisa Hannigan (Park) - 16:30 - 17:30
Forest Swords (Wow!) - 18:00 - 18:45

I, er, maybe need to be a bit more judicious with this stuff.

Colour coding means:

Green - non negotiable

Purp - want to see, clashes

Blue - want to see, no major clash

Red - would be up for that

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
